Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our two night stay at America's Best Value Inn, in Marion, IL. The hostess and all employees that we met were very pleasant and more than willing to help. The gentleman who was taking care of breakfast on Saturday, made a whole pot of De-caf coffee when he heard me say I could not drink regular. I hated for him to make a whole pot for me, but he was very kind. The room was clean and spacious. My only complaint is that the WiFi was very slow, and hard to connect to.

I had to cancel my stay this year due to an accident. I called the hotel days in advance and they were to relay the information to Red Lion. I tried to contact Red Lion, but apparently the internet service is clumsy and did not register my cancellation.

In previous years I have always stayed here and always enjoyed it. Food is GREAT!. Accomodations were always great in past years.

Best Americas Best Value Inn in the country!

This was by far the best Americas Best Value Inn I have ever stayed at. The staff, especially Carol, was friendly from the moment I walked through the door, and her tips concerning where to eat were spot on. The pool was small but nice, much nicer than I've seen at much more expensive places. Overall, it was one of the best low cost hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was huge, with a couch and desk and hard wood floors. I hadn't planned on staying here, I just pulled off I-24 with car trouble, and was lucky to find this hotel. Now, I would go out of my way to stay here.

Nice Place

It's a pretty nice place to stay. They just redid the floors in our room, taking out the carpet and replacing it with laminate. It looks good. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows are nice. It's nothing fancy but definitely works for a night while traveling through. The pool is small but very cute. Breakfast was good and filling. The staff is friendly.

Large comfortable room

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights.The room was large, clean and comfortable. There was a microwave and a fridge in the room as well. The only problem we had was the breakfast time. When I booked the room I read that the breakfast was served from 5am and that suited us well, because we would get up early. It turned out that the time was recently switched to 6am and we couldn't get the breakfast earlier.
