Good Place to stay

I have stayed her a lot over the past year and a half for business travel. DJ his wife and staff are very friendly. The price was a good deal, internet was fast which is a plus since I needed it for work. convenient for my travels as well as close to restaurants.

If you are looking for a cheap place and you don't mind the bugs, dirt and a very limited breakfast, you might want to consider this place. We don't recommend this place. There are other choices. This is one of the worst places we have ever stayed in and hope we don't get another one.

Bugs

I selected this hotel for my parents for 4 nights, but they had to check out after the 2nd night because of bugs all over the walls outside their room and crawling on walls in their room. Am thinking it must have been a bug breeding outbreak during their stay since no other review mentions bugs. Another man told my father there were bugs in his room as well as a bug in his coffee cup in the breakfast area [very cheerful, sunny breakfast area in lobby - cereal, waffles, pastries, no eggs.] I moved my folks to another hotel down the street for two bug-free nights.
The hotel is on the main street [California] in Socorro so easy access to the restaurants and stores, as well as the turn west on Bullock to New Mexico Tech and NRAO.

You just can't beat the price!

It was the perfect stay for a small family of three. The accommodations were nice the staff was excellent and the price was just right. If you're looking for a place to stay check this out. When we come through next year we will stay here again.

3rd Time is a Charm

This is the 3rd time that I have visited Socorro in the past 4 years and each time I have visited, I have stayed at the Americas Best Value Inn in Socorro. If you are looking for a 4-star hotel, this isn't the place or for that matter, you won't find any in Socorro! But if you are looking for a clean, safe place to stay that won't break your budget, this might be the best place in town. Manager/owner cares for his property and will treat you right. I had a very late check-in (1am) and when I got to my room, I discovered that my TV wasn't working and the manager came down and fixed the problem. Everything else during my stay met all of my expectations.
