I stayed there for work in the area. Was in the old part, but did that because i am cheap. Overall this was the best hotel deal within 30 miles. Manny was very easy going and wanted to make sure everything is acceptable. Would stay again.

My wife and I had a very nice stay! Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and fresh. I really enjoyed the quiet. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were nice. My wife loved the glider rocker as she relaxed and watched television. Would recommend to any traveler to stay here.

Well maintained and updated older Motel. Friendly owners on-site. Friendly, quick answers and any service needed. CLEAN, QUIET AND COMFORTABLE. Owners have done lots of updates and their pride shows Wild Rose Casino & Concert Venue is about 10 minutes East of the Motel. Kirby's Cafe about 3-4 minutes East of the Motel serves good food, buffet or menu, ON SUNDAYS !!! We plan on going back up for a concert in October. Definitely plan on staying at this motel, instead of the Casino Hotel. Peaceful, clean, comfortable & quiet ! ! !

Best friends son's wedding

I was in Emmetsburg for my best friends son's wedding and just needed a place to stay over night. In my research it was the least expensive room I could get for the weekend and I was very happy with it. The room was large, very clean, and had a fridge, microwave, and small coffee maker. While it did show it's age in a few small areas, the carpeting and all the furnishings were in good condition and the bed comfortable.

I would recommend it to anyone staying in this area.

Old Style Motel with Modern updates

3 day stay, more like a suite as it had couch, table, desk, mini fridge and microwave. Clean and friendly staff. Outside access with a real Key. Pleasant surprise.
Recommended place for relaxation. Enjoy are retro type weekend.
