What People are saying

An OK place

davideN5458OJon 27/07/2017 01:51

I stayed here two years ago, and was disappointed that the quality of the property had slipped. This is an older motel and is showing its age. It is inexpensive and easy to get to, but has some maintenance issues. I did note that the pool and area was very clean and looked well-maintained. On the other hand, there was a band of light completely around my door, and that of a friend who was also staying there. Oh, and there's a rooster, with all that implies for those early morning/late night wake-ups. Staff is very friendly and willing to help out.

Once is Enough!

Who the heck has a rooster roaming the grounds and crowing from 3:15am onwards? When you've been driving all day this is the last thing you need.
On the bright side, the room was large, clean and comfortable. It lacked coffee and tea making facilities though. The refrigerator in our room didn't work.
The staff were friendly albeit somewhat ditzy.
I won't go back.

New owners

I have been staying here for several years when traveling through the area. The previous owners really made you feel welcome with a personal escort often by one of their children and they would make sure everything was OK with the room, then they bring some salsa and chips, how good is that. Sadly those days are over and this is now just another cheap place to sleep. While it was tidy the rooms were not to the same clean standards as before and with 4 light fixtures in the room, only 2 had bulbs so it made for a very dreary feeling room. I won't go out of my way to stay here like in the past and wish the previous owners the very best.

Rooster on-site starts crowing at 6:30am

JVZon 14/04/2017 19:28

Will not return here, even for $60/night, mostly because of the rooster on site that starts crowing before 7am. The first thing I noticed were about 20 dead fruit flies scattered on the table under a hanging lamp that had been left on. The switch for the bedside lamp was broken so I had to plug/unplug it to turn it on/off. Outlets were not easily accessible (power strips behind furniture). We'd reserved a king bed, but were given a queen. When we called the front desk, the employee did not apologize, but offered us a king smoking room, which is not an option for me. No Kleenex provided. Bikes not allowed in the room. Wifi is too slow to download a Netflix episode. The room itself was spacious, and the rest of the inn looked nice- koi pond, pool, lobby.

One night stay

Hotel was clean, simple, staff was polite, continental breakfast consisted of two types of cereal, oatmeal, orange juice, coffee, and a few pastries. Overall what you would expect from a hotel of this type.
