678lizziehon 02/08/2017 23:53Good price for a place to just sleep and be on your way the next day. Room was adequate. TV a little hard to use. No fridge in the room. Manager was very friendly. Light breakfast included, begins at 6 am.

SmyDapOneon 26/07/2017 19:58For $59, hard to beat this inn. The furnishings and decor are older, but the courteous, professional, friendly service far outweighs the furnishings.
The bed was comfortable, the a/c cooled down the room in five minutes. If you follow the simple directions, the TV service is very good with a wide array of channels (no local channels, but that is clearly noted).
Breakfast met all needs: milk, juice, coffee, tea, yogurt, apples, cereal, hot waffles.
As a single woman, I felt comfortable with the safety of the parking and the room.
If I go through Tucumcari again, I'll stay here again.

Simple yet nice

The hotel itself is definitely an older hotel, but was clean and well kept. For the price it was hands down the best bargain you could ask for. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who was looking to save some money on their trip. I'd definitely stay here again.
Two super important things that really made the difference for me.. first of all, when I booked the room I was very tired and forgot to add my 2 year old daughter to it. It would have cost $5 more had I added her and after talking to the front desk lady about it she decided to let it slide and didn't charge me. That was very nice of her. And second, I was hauling a large U-Haul and I was very worried about the security of it in the parking lot. The front desk lady allowed me to park my Uhaul right up front so she could watch it through the window. That was a huge relief for me and I instantly felt better. Anything this hotel may lack simply because it's older is made up for by the owners who go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable.

Good for an overnight
Sharon Kon 05/06/2017 17:06We stayed for one night on a road trip. The room was fine for a night's sleep. It was clean and quiet. The management was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental with just a few choices. There was no juice but plenty of milk and coffee. You cannot beat the price.
