Quick Stay for a Wedding!
Wendy Bon 27/08/2017 18:49We basically only slept here and ate breakfast because we were in town for a Wedding at a Resort in town! Nice hotel and very nice room! Close to train tracks, so we heard that a few times! The free breakfast was just ok! Sausage looked gross and no scrambled eggs! The Biscuits for the Gravy were also very hard! Everything else was good!

Gary Aon 01/08/2017 22:29Easy, friendly check in. The room was a great surprise. I have stayed here before and they recently remodeled the rooms and they rival hotels that charge much more. Great price, great room and breakfast was very good. (the fresh cookies at night didn't hurt either)
Lovely place
estherfyk5458on 19/07/2017 19:51I pulled in to Baudette about 1:30ish am and found this lovely place. The reception was warm and welcoming and they offered to accommodate me in any way they could. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, ambiance was quiet.
Nicer hotel than I expected for small town Baudette
Bigfoot424on 09/07/2017 14:29Wife and I just spent a week here. The average rating has more to do with a couple issues but overall I was pleasantly surprised at how well I liked the hotel and staff. We were in a suite with a door separating the bedroom from the living room. There is a small fridge and microwave. Due to our sleeping habits this was something we wanted. Biggest issue here is that the bedroom AC does not cool the living room down once the door is shut but at least there is a ceiling fan here. Might I suggest to management a curtain on this glass door would be nice to keep the living room light out of the bedroom. The staff was very friendly from start to end and the hotel was decorated well. I'm used to staying in Hilton properties around the world and I have to admit kind of a hotel snob as I get older. But AmeriCinn did a nice job and I'd stay here again if need be. There were a couple negatives though.
No elevator here so don't get the 2nd floor if you can't carry stuff upstairs. The breakfast was their weak spot if they had to have one. The breakfast actually had a nice amount of food here and the sitting area was good size. But they ran out of larger plates, butter and toppings for waffles/oatmeal. They did get a delivery near the end of our visit and the Butter/plates were back. But the one thing they really need to fix is the Biscuits served for Biscuits/Sausage Gravy. The first time I served it I threw it away as the biscuit was horrible. Dry and just terrible. The 2nd time---same thing. The 2nd time a group of construction workers all threw theirs away also and we all agreed it was terrible. The gravy seemed fine but the biscuits need to go.
Overall, I was pleased with this hotel and staff and would stay again.
Oh yes. You will hear the train, numerous times during the night. It wasn't deafening by any means but the short whistles could be heard as could the train rolling on the tracks.
