I booked for the wrong week on accident and even though they were almost fully booked, they gave me an upgraded room for the same cost that I had booked the lesser room at. The stay was great, room was clean, and the staff was awesome.

Review your receipt at the end of your stay!!!

There was a problem with our reservation and they upgraded us to a more expensive room that was available. They said that they would honor the price I paid and even gave me the price for the room after a AAA discount. The problem is that even after the desk clerk told me what the rate was he actually charged me almost twice that amount. When I checked out it was a hassle to get it straightened out. It was almost like they tired to pull a fast one and only refunded the difference after I brought it up. Not a good way to run a hotel.

Nice hotel - but rooms poorly cleaned

We were disappointed in our room as the back of the toilet had a layer of dirt that you could literally write in. I have never seen that in any hotel room We've stayed in. When we travel we don't need a fancy room but do like a clean room and a friendly staff. It seemed like the staff was more like fill in staff rather than folks that cared and enjoyed their job.

We selected the AmericInn because it had a good location for a long road trip. The hotel staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. Access to the hotel from parking lot was extremely convenient. The hotel has an Applebee's located in one corner of the parking lot, which is extremely convenient given that we arrived late, needed dinner and they stayed open until midnight. Good experienceoverall.

Really Nice Place to Stay

The AmericInn is a really nice property. It's located right off the highway, near some restaurants and it's close to the university as well. The rooms have a feature that we like, the sink area is located outside of the bathroom, so multiple people can get ready at the same time. The room is clean and airy and had a refrigerator.

The lobby is clean and spacious. There is coffee and hot chocolate available at all hours. The pool, which we didn't use, is open until midnight. The pool is open to adults only after 10 pm.

The complementary breakfast is a step or two above the usual. There are 2 waffle irons and one of them makes the smaller waffles in case you don't want an entire waffle. There are strawberries and whipped cream for the waffles. There is a good variety of juice and fresh fruit. In addition, there was gravy and biscuits, eggs, bacon, and western-style potatoes.

Our family loved our stay here.
