Had major car trouble 180 miles away on our trip to Worthington. We immediately called the AmericInn to cancel our reservation (mid afternoon). Desk person said "great - thanks for letting us know", but she also said we'd have to call a third party service to get a refund/not have our credit card charged. This began a "squirrel hunt" -- 3rd party offices were not helpful and said we needed to talk directly with AmericInn -- etc etc etc. Long story short, we were charged full fare for the stay we didn't make plus all taxes, service fees etc. Left a very bad taste in our mouths about AmericInn -- and we certainly are not likely to even consider them again. Terrible customer service!

We stayed their for one night with a party of 6 (two rooms).
The rooms are clean and big. The beds are one of the best beds we have slept in.
The hotel itself is very clean.
The pool and hottub are big and very good. The water temperature is nice. It's one of the best pools we have had in hotels.
Breakfast was usual for hotels offering breakfast, nothing special. Coffee was good.
Perkins and KFC are in walking distance.

Quiet room as a wedding party staying that nite and hotel filled up. Liked the separate vanity/sink area from the shower/toilet area. Very friendly staff and made us feel welcome. The breakfast had eggs and ham and the usual bagels and waffles ect. just had coffee and a donut as we went to breakfast at the house of our friends in town. I would have been satisfied with this breakfast if we had stayed as it looked good.

Very quiet hotel with very comfortable beds. Always had a good night's sleep. Solid walls and floors. It's a bit dated, and the carpet is old, but it's clean and the staff is friendly. Extremely small bathroom, good wifi, and great cable tv with a lot of channels to choose from. Two floors, but no elevator and we had to haul our luggage up the stairs, but it wasn't too bad. It has an indoor pool that looked nice, but we didn't have time to use it. We paid $152/night for a king bed suite, and I thought that was pricey for a small Minnesota town with nothing to do around the area. Mini fridge and microwave in the room. Breakfast served until 10:00 a.m. was a decent selection of waffles, eggs, ham, yogurts, muffins, etc. We enjoyed our time here and would stay with them, again.

This was a one night stay that left us happy with our choice. We were tired and wanted off the road, This hotel popped up with good reviews. Those reviews were positive so we took the chance.
And I was not disappointed in any way, very clean hotel, room was large, beds were fine.
