oava2014on 01/08/2017 21:31The staff made our stay pleasurable. down to earth people , beds were very comfortable, hotel needs a good cleaning, you can see the neglect. if you like a clean hotel, I would look else where. okay for 1 night.
Enjoyed my stay
stevepD8178DHon 01/08/2017 15:51Middle of Summer in Park Rapids and was a great place to visit. Was there for four nights and enjoyed the entire stay. The breakfast was fine, pool was nice and staff was really friendly and worked hard to make sure everything was good for us.

Dougrnffon 18/07/2017 20:26The AmericInn in Park Rapids was a wonderful hotel, We stayed on the second floor (of 2 floors), there was no elevator, but that did not bother us, as there is no handicap issue. We swam for about 4 hours in the pool and hot tub and had a delicious breakfast every morning. I would highly recommend this location if you ever need to stay in or near Park Rapids, MN!
Weekend Getaway
kea327on 07/07/2017 18:11We stayed here for one night while we visited the Itasca State Park. The hotel was very clean and the front staff were very friendly and helpful! The room was neat and clean, but the remote to the TV didn't work. When I told the front desk upon check out, she actually took the time to write down the room number and what was wrong so that housekeeping would take care of it right away. We ate at the continental breakfast in the morning. The person filling the food, was doing a great job keeping up with supplies and keeping things cleaned up. Only complaint was the coffee was very weak. Otherwise, I would definitely stay here again or recommend to others.
Best option in Park Rapids
BlueHenFlyeron 06/06/2017 22:10Unassuming two story hotel with a great staff and decent rates. Could do a bit more to improve (not much excitement at the breakfast bar), but overall the best bet within 40 miles of the location. Staff does make it good.
