shelleyc618on 08/08/2017 04:55We are returning guests and would recommend this place. Nice hotel near the remote area of the Porcupine Mountains. During the evening they even provided a campfire near the lakeshore during the beautiful sunset. Many guests were able to enjoy roasting marshmallows. Wonderful indoor pool and hot tub too

brendajmcon 04/08/2017 22:17Overall great experience! Friendly staff. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable. They're currently remodeling but did a good job of keeping things clean and accessible. Pool was larger than expected. Nice spa. Restaurant attached to hotel was good. What sets this place apart is the lake front. Plenty of picnic tables, chairs, 3 fire pits - great for watching sunset over Lake Superior and having s campfire.

It is always clean and quiet, and the staff is always super friendly. We want our loved
ones to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere we have felt here. It's a plus to have the hotel right on the lake where we are able to enjoy the sunsets and skipping rocks. We hope the beauty of this place never changes.
Clean, excellent location close to Lake of the Clouds
TheKs42on 01/08/2017 13:50We visited the Adventure Mining attraction and our tour guide (Jen) asked where else we were going and where we were staying. She said the AmericInn was a great choice and she was right. The property is somehow homey with nice grounds and right on Lake Superior. It was a busy place, likely due to proximity to the Porcupine Mountains and Lake of the Clouds, but our room was quiet, nicely appointed, and everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay again and highlyy recommend the AmericInn.

Kathleen Kon 27/07/2017 19:38We chose this location due to its proximity to the East Entrance into Porcupine Mountains Wilderness Park, and the fact that this motel accepts pets. Staff was very dog-friendly, good beds, and very quiet room.
