Clean and comfortable
Rhondaclpon 16/08/2017 00:11We had a terrible experience across the street at another hotel, and walked over here hoping they had a vacancy as we couldn't stay across the street another night. They had a room available so we took it. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was alright and the wifi worked well. We stayed on a Saturday night, and I found it to be quite expensive for a one night stay. The bathroom was small however clean.
We did have an issue with payment, as my card was charged twice for the same night. We thought we had fixed the issue before we finished checking in, however in the morning, the staff said that the charges had not been reversed as we were told that they had been. The morning staff reversed the charge but said it would take a couple of days for the refund to appear on my credit card. It has been 2 days, however it hasn't been taken off yet, so I will have to keep an eye on it....
Looks OK from the outside
Gerry Don 14/08/2017 22:55My wife and I stayed here in the beginning of August. We stayed here because it is pet friendly. We checked in and they upgraded us from one queen bed to a two queen beds with a fridge and a microwave. When we got in the room we noticed a musty smell. I figured turning on the air might help. Unfortunately the smell did not get better until the next morning when we were checking out. Their breakfast was really lame. The orange juice machine was out of order. Normally we stay at La Quinta's. Unfortunately there was not one around. Also, the rate was rather expensive for the quality of the place.
Was ok
NMLBHoughtonon 07/08/2017 02:55Decent overall value, centrally located. Building was quite dated inside. My room was fairly clean, but smelled of smoke. (Was a non smoking room). Bed was comfortable, tv was easy to use. Plenty of deferred maintenance evident throughout the building. Front desk lady was very friendly upon arrival, breakfast selection was pretty good.
Decent place for a good night's rest
hap-hazzardon 04/07/2017 04:48Stayed overnight to attend the US Open at Erin Hills. Culvers is a short walk across the parking lot. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The building itself looked pretty dated but once inside the room we found a clean bed and bathroom. We had a comfortable, quiet stay. The breakfast options at the hotel weren't the greatest but if you like coffee and a pastry then you'll be fine. There is a McDonalds right down the street if needed.
Would recommend and stay again
jillcM428VEon 03/07/2017 23:54From the moment I arrived to the moment that I left everyone was friendly, welcoming and courteous. A for the rooms/bathrooms they were all clean and the bed was very comfortable. The parking lot was full, so I can only assume there was activity in the hallway but I never heard doors slam or people in the hallway. I would definitely stay again when or if I am in the area.
