Very Nice Hotel with Awesome Guest Service
Kizzy Son 31/07/2017 17:59I arrived at the hotel prior to check in time and explained to the young lady at the front desk that I needed to change clothes for a meeting. She was extremely friendly, kind and accomodating. She looked through the system and found a room that was ready for me to check-in. The hotel lobby was pleasant and inviting. The room was very clean and smelled fresh upon entry. Overall, it met my expecations.
Nice Place to Stay
Keke2873on 07/07/2017 21:19Spent one night here over the 4th of July weekend. Everything was wonderful. The décor was beautiful and everything was clean. The staff were very professional and dressed nice. I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel. For those who gamble, there is a shuttle that runs to the Americstar casino. The only issue I had was that I asked for a non-smoking room. They gave me a smoking room. Eventhough it was a smoking room, the smoke scent was light and covered by some powerful air freshners, so I barely noticed the smoke scent.

dorothy822002on 30/06/2017 14:21We stayed during the week for a girls trip. The hotel check in area was really nice. I loved a the decorations & light fixtures. Very Art Deco. Our room was clean & comfortable. The staff is super nice. We used the shuttle to go eat the buffet for dinner on our our last night. The buffet wasn't that great. I'm glad it was free. My mom is a rewards member with casino so our meal & stay was free. We were able to take our 14 year old niece into the casino to eat. They had to escort her in & out. We've stayed here several times & sure we will again. It's also convenient to the interstate & fun things to do. Get a river view room if they're available.

RetiredTraveler629on 23/06/2017 04:51My wife and I traveled to Vicksburg for shopping, dining and relaxation. We always enjoy the clean rooms, friendly staff and the convenience of Ameristar Hotel. The service is always professional and courteous. The shuffle service is also very convenient and the driver are informative and helpful. The Southern Cooking buffet has a variety of food to choose from and the salad bar was great.
Room Temperature Thermostat could not be controlled!
Ann Jon 14/06/2017 19:04The thermostat in the hotel room stayed at a constant 68 degrees and would not let us raise to any other degree marks!
The electric plug for the computer was situated BEHIND the work desk LEG, so work desk had to be moved away from wall to get to electric plug!
There was no Refrigerator or Microwave in room; Beds very uncomfortable......
