Amazing hosts and fantastic ambiance

We had the privilege of staying with Dennis and Starla for four nights while attending the Shakespeare Festival. We will never stay anywhere else in the future. Amid Summer's Inn is now our number one place to stay. We have even discussed staying here while attending the plays at Tuacahn in St. George. We loved the ambiance of the Inn and the decor of the rooms. We stayed in the themed room, Romeo and Juliet. It was large and comfortable. The bathroom was clean, modern and spacious. The food was wonderful! Starla is a fantastic cook and provided a variety of delicious breakfasts and treats. It was fun to come home from one of the plays and find a freshly baked goodie waiting for us. We were made to feel like royal guests visiting a long lost family. We know we will come back "home" when visiting the area or passing through!

The Hosts of this Bed & Breakfast were very welcoming and friendly. The home is beautiful and very clean. The rooms are themed and beautifuy decorated. We stayed 2 nights and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very luxurious and very clean. The breakfast as very good and presented very well. It was a fantastic experience. We look forward to staying there again.

Felt Like Royalty

Starla was an amazing host to us. She accommodated us in many ways, one being the time we got to breakfast and the times she would come to service our room. We had a beautiful and welcoming display of food/drink/treats sitting out for us when we arrived. We stayed in the King Arthur room which was off-set from the rest of the building with a separate entrance so it gave a bit of extra privacy. ;) The decor was like a fairytale. Everything we thought it would be. The bathroom was nice. Toilet in it's own space so two people could there at the same time. The fridge was a little small but we were super grateful for it non-the-less. The air conditioner needed some work but that was something we shared with Starla and she got right on that to address the issue. The space where breakfast was served made us feel like royalty and family at the same time. Starla is a great cook and she provides a full scrumptious meal to start the day off right. She was very conscientious of our needs/space/time and was so kind! We will be making this an annual thing to celebrate our anniversary. The location is great. It's small-town feel is nice and it is within an hour drive of many notable state attractions. We would HIGHLY reccomend that you give this place a try - give Starla the opportunity to let you feel like royalty too!

We loved our stay with Starla & family at Amid Summer's Inn. It was a short walk to the theaters, the inn itself is lovely and the breakfasts were devine. This was our first time to the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City. We will definitely come back and we will definitely stay there again.

Made Our Trip Special

Dennis and Starla make you feel like you're getting home after a long road trip! They're warm and friendly, and very accommodating. Our comfort was their top priority. The downstairs 2-bedroom suite is cozy and a great way to vacation with kids. The theaters are a 10 minute walk so very convenient for festival goers. Food? Gourmet. And, finally, we forgot a personal item when we left there, and stopped to pick it up on the way home. Along with our belongings was a plate of Starla's delicious brownies for the road! Can't beat that.
