We chose this motel on the outskirts of Lancaster to be away from the craziness but to be close to attractions. I gave them the shadow of the doubt after reading the reviews. I honestly thought people were just being picky and exaggerating on here. Boy was I wrong! Walk into the "office" and ring the bell for service. The owner comes out of her home that it attached to the motel. Be prepared to get hit in the face with the pungent odor of cat urine once you step in. We were handed the key and told that the door to the room was left open because "it's so humid out and I don't want to run everyone's AC's." Then the story changed to "the old people don't like it when they arrive and the room is ice cold so I left the door open for air flow". Walk into the room and once again, get hit in the face by a god awful smell. This time it was of really strong bug spray. Instant headache and fear of returning home with bed bugs!! I regret not turning around and asking for our money back at this point! Went to use the bathroom- there was a poo smear on the seat. The shower looked like it was falling apart and the toilet tank cover was cracked. What else? Pull back the covers to find stains on them and the sheets. (I was not brave enough to look at the mattress.)The chair was ripped and stained. The AC would be up too far for someone short to turn on. Dirt around the base of the lamp and along the walls. Peeling wallpaper. Screen door wouldn't close right. I figured if anything, we wouldn't be in the room long and we could use the pool. Right? Wrong. The pool looked like a green swamp and there was not a sign on the gate saying it was closed. I would be scared to eat the breakfast after seeing what we did. We chose to forgo our stay without fighting for a refund. It's sad that the location is excellent for the disappointment of what this place is. If you're still considering staying here, see how the owner responds to the reviews... that should be your deciding factor.

My wife and I made reservations for this motel. When we arrived the lobby had a musty odor. The room was outdated and in need of cleaning and repairs. The room also had a musty odor. The outside of the building was in need of paint and repairs. Some of the guest where dancing in the parking lot. The pool was empty and looked like it had not been used for years. We are not sure how the service was since we did not stay. I will give two stars as the woman in the lobby was nice and a pleasant person. I can not say how the sleep quality is since we did not stay. We handed the keys back and ran for the hills. We never spent the night, or any part of the stay. We went to another motel. I do not like giving bad reviews, but I am sorry to say that this place is terrible.

This place is flithy dirty. The person who runs it Laura is rude and she is the housekeeper! The place again is filthy! The pool is a broken hole in the ground! Do not stay here. When I got there I had to clean the light in the bathroom and t

This place is clean, no bugs, quite, and the staff is nice. The furniture all matched. The rooms could use a bit of updating, and the wifi sucked. No breakfast.
The rate was good. I paid $250.00 for a week. Would stay again if in the area.

Our room was comfortable in every way. Close to the area's outlets and eateries and also historic downtown Strasburg is right there. The hotel manager asked everyday how our stay was going and if she could be of assistance in any way. The overall standard of the hotel was great and I would definitely stay here again...
