Me. wife and son spent a weekend over at Ammadi Home Stay. We had a lovely time. Mr. Srinivas who owns the Home, which is now 3 centuries old is a gem of a person. The food was great as well. Nestled among hills and full of greenery we had a nice time. Good romms but used the rooms only to rest. Dont expect more for the room. Its a room just like in a home. Spent all time lazing around the house and on the verandah.

Good place to relax and to enjoy traditional delicacy food
Rooms are clean and perfect home stay.
Far away from pollution and closer to mother nature
you can also enjoy plantation walk in the early morning.

Nature at its best with hospitable host on other end

The location was superb and away from the hustle bustle of cities and town. It is close to most of tourist destinations .
The house is in middle of the estate and facing greenery on all sides. The legacy of the house has been maintained well by the host and truly exemplifies the name Ammadi. The rooms are cozy and perfect for couples and families. They house accommodates limited guests so there is less noise and we can feel the calmness.
The best part is the food, the taste of malnad food can be experienced at its best. Hosts are welcoming to change the menu as per the guest wish.

A Home away from Home - That is Ammadi

Hi;
We stayed at Ammadi Homestay on August 15th. My family and my cousin brother's family stayed here for 1D/1N. It was an unforgettable experience. Homestay owner, Mr. Sreenivas is such a humble and pleasant person that made the stay much more memorable. He went out of the way to make our stay comfortable. The Holestay, part of which is almost 150 years old is a very well maintained. It has a courtyard in the middle which reminded me of my ancestral house. It's really a Home away from Home.
While we were leaving on 16th, August we came out to the main road and then i stopped my vehicle to have a last look at the House. Both mine and wife's eyes got wet and we promised ourselves that we will be back soon...

Ammadi Home stay is simply beautiful and highly recommended for families. It is located in a lush green 20 acres property and your lungs would thank you a ton which you can't hear but seriously experience.

Their hospitality was very unique and it is evident from the minute you start interacting with Mr.Ashwin and Sir lovely Srinivas (if I may rechristen him). Of course you will find the equally food delicious and homely.

I would also like to take a minute and thank their very cordial staffs without which this review won't be complete.
