No luggage storage
thereallifeon 29/08/2017 23:56The only reason this hotel can survive is it's Monopol as the only airport hotel with Amman airport operating the majority of its European flights in the middle of the night.
Please be aware that the hotel does not store luggage. So if you feel like heading into town after checking out and picking up your luggage on the way back to catch your late flight - forget it. I talked to the manager, the fact that luggage storage explicitly was advertised on booking.com did not seem to matter much to him, in fact nothing seemed to matter much to any staff in this hotel. He could have cared less about my situation.
The Dead Sea with its wonderful hotels is only an hour away from the airport with cheap taxis available - next time I will head down there directly no matter the time of the day. So would I advise anyone else - just skip this place.
Amman Airport Hotel - not a 4 star
Duckeson 12/08/2017 19:02cons: maintenance not kept up in the building; elevator buttons don't always open door or move the elevator on the 1st try; dining facilities are less than adequate; not much variety in food; a 4.99% charge is automatically added to all purchases (gift shop, etc) inn addition to the TWO taxes already required; no iron or ironing board in rooms; can hear people in hallways; pros: shuttle service is convenient; and free to guests of hotel; amenitiies such as soaps, etc. are nice;
Fantastic, affordable, quiet despite location
Amer Hon 02/08/2017 13:51despite the proximity of the hotel to the airport, this hotel is very quiet, very comfortable, clean, great food and venue to invite guests and conferences. The events manager [Mr Zakariah] was fantastic, helpful, professional and prompt and this approach was reflected in the culture of the hotel. Nice food and great restaurant
Best solution next to the airport
hirokokesimon 22/07/2017 09:57Great location, the hotel was located very close to the airport and the airport pick up shuttle was very useful as I was traveling with 1 year old baby with luggages. Recommended for travellers really looking for a quick comfort a rest after a long journey!
Wish there is a Zero Star Option I won't even give it to them
