What People are saying
The worst hotel I have tried in Asia
Kamal Bon 15/07/2017 18:05We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and we wouldn't have stayed there more than one night if we haven't prepaid the stay upon check-in. We found the hotel online while we were looking for a room in Makati. The photos online look nice but very misleading as it has nothing to do with reality. The hotel is quite old not refurbished as they say, cheaply furnished, it is located in a kind of a commercial gallery amongst other shops and offices. When we arrived at the room we had a bad surprise : They gave us the smallest room they have, the bed they call double bed is more like a single bed with two pillows! I complained at the reception, and the receptionist promised to change our room next day. The room we got next day was not much better, apart the bed was a little bigger. The room is very outdated, no place to store our clothes, stains on the bed sheets, many small cockroaches in the room and in the bathroom, we couldn't open the window blinds then we understood that this was intentional as the view was over the gallery corridors ! During the 3 nights we slept very badly because of the strong noise of air conditioning and also the loud music coming from the bars down the hotel and as you can image when you know there are bugs in the room, it is not easy to get some sleep !! I forgot to mention that in the hotel corridor there was some work going on and painting odor was all over the place.
I think this hotel should reconsider the way they describe their property and put some pictures that really represent the place. They are definitely not a 3-star hotel, I would give it half a star and this is being generous! They should make a lot of improvements to their services.
At the end this was not the good bargain we thought we got online but we felt deceived and scammed.
Good enough to stay if you don't want to spend much
Jess Mon 16/04/2017 16:30I stayed here in December with my family for a few days before taking a domestic flight.
The bad:
-Noise and lights of cars passing through. from daytime till 10 PM
-Beds are to small
- Poor breakfast
- Wifi is slow
- Prostitutes are active on ground floor
- Not much food options near the hotel , except for a Macdonald's
The good:
-Cheap
- Location, Makati and airport are nearby.
- Staff is friendly and helpful
Don't say that nobody warned you...
Eduardo Zon 17/03/2017 23:59I found this hotel on the internet looking for a place to stay in Manila, in the photos it looked very nice so I decided to give it a try. My flight arrived at 5am so I got at the hotel by 7am. First, the hotel does not look like a hotel from outside and the area is very noisy because of the traffic...how many stars do they say it has...? The lobby is dark and damp. The receptionist (a girl) was very nice but after giving me the rate per night she explained that there was an extra charge for early check-in...ok...Then she explained that apart from the price I had to pay for my 3-night stay there was some extra money they asked as a deposit that it would be returned to me after checked out...but there was no logical explanation for this "deposit"...As I had to wait to check-in, I asked to have a look at the room. They showed me one that had recently been cleaned, it was dark and damp, the window faced a wall and it had been sprayed with something like insecticide that smelled awful, they told me it was a deodorizer, the bed was very small. I asked to see another room. They showed me one across from the reception desk which was being cleaned, it was dark and damp as well, the room and the bed very small and I saw bugs walking on the walls ew! then I understood why the "deodorizer"...that made me ran away, I told them I would come back but I knew I wouldn't. I would never stay at a place like this.
Do not shortchange your guests.
iceskatermamaon 12/03/2017 15:30I booked a triple room and paid P4,500.00 with breakfast. The first room they assigned us was a room with one single bed and one a double size bed. I would not have complained if the second bed was a queen size bed. How do you expect two adults to sleep comfortably on a double size bed and considering you paid for a triple room. This is like shortchanging your guests. I requested/insisted that they transfer us to a room with three beds which they did. But this should not have happened. No slippers, toothbrush/toothpaste upon request, no electric airpot so no coffee/tea to welcome guests, water in a pitcher unlike other hotels in sealed bottles. My children and I have booked in more or less ten hotels in Metro Manila before, I am sorry to say that this is the poorest hotel in terms of accommodation, however, on the brighter side breakfast was good, the staff is accommodating like the room boy and the guard greeting you with a smile always. I read a lot of bad reviews about this hotel, but we tried it anyway thinking there was improvement. We were disappointed.
Needs a lot of improvement
on 16/02/2017 09:21First, there is no wifi in the room. Wifi are only accessible from the lobby and dining area. Due to time differences between UK & Philippines I have to go to the lobby at 1:30am just to use the free wifi where there are loads of undesirables around. I didn't feel safe at this hotel. The security is virtually do not exist.
Second, the rooms that I have been are inadequate. Not a 3* that they advertised, More like a 1*. I will never use this hotel ever.
