This is a great hotel we traveled there for the concert , and booked it a s a complete package ,
our room was on the 2 floor and was big and comfortable well cleaned and comfortable bed
the hotel is central and just opposite railway station , has limited parking but is expensive for parking
overall medium value , only off was we had a package meal which was not great , but breakfast was great

Wonderful but a little dated decor

We stayed as part of a Andre Rieu package and naturally expected and was supplied with a very good stay at this venue which was comfortable with lovely meals, particularly the Banquet before a performance. We enjoyed the stay and were impressed with the comfort of the room. However, it should be said that the decor looked a bit tired in places and the Reception Area looked more like a Station waiting room then a luxury Hotel. We will hopefully return and stay in this fine Hotel and explore a very interesting Town which has so much to offer, not just the excellent Andre Rieu concerts/

A Dream come True

A Christmas gift from my family brought me to this wonderful city. The hotel was beside a" not noisy " station and only 10 minutes pleasant walk to city centre. I just loved the hotel...bright, airy, modern, comfortable and really lovely food. Staff most helpful and although very busy as Andre Rieu concerts were in full swing for 2 weeks, they always had time for my queries or requests. The weather was warm and sunny and the waterways with their busy stream of touring and commercial boats were a very pleasant place to sit for a coffee and waffle or ice cream. There was a lovely variety of shops and boutiques and lots of restaurants to suit every nationality and pocket. My lasting impression will be all the bicycles everywhere.........hundreds of them all going to work or about their business.......every type, size and colour. They ruled the streets for sure. The famous square was taken over by the stage, cameras , tv crews, waffle and coffee stands. People sat around the outside of the square enjoying tasty meals in the sunshine......I will definitely do my best to return to this lovely place......and stay longer next time. Ps. Don,t forget to visit the fantastic outdoor market on Fridays for fruit, veg, flowers , clothes and anything else you might want.......a must before you go home.

Good hotel for a great Andre Rieu weekend

We booked this hotel as part of a package with Andre Rieu Travel.
The hotel is located a minute walk from the train station, just opposite the station and 12-15 minutes walk from the city center where the concert took place.
The staff were very welcoming and very friendly.
Breakfast was very good.
Rooms are big and there's also a little sitting area in the room.
The bathroom is big with a bath!
A/C is very good and very quiet.
Ask for the back rooms.
We enjoyed it very much.
didn't use the pool.

About 20 minutes walk to town

Other reviews say it all. Could be going with some refurbishment in the bedrooms although the rooms are clean, serviceable and comfortable. Surprisingly quiet despite the works ongoing in the road at the station.
We chose it for its proximity to the train station where the KLM transfer bus drops off and picks up for Schiphol. It was also a pleasant walk into town.
Bed was soft but very comfy. Breakfast was ok with the exception of the incredibly crispy incinerated bacon one morning! The special Andre Rieu buffet dinner was fine - food was hot, reasonable selection and pleasant service in a lovely room - with an Andre Rieu DVD showing on a big screen. The staff were all helpful, friendly and smiling throughout our stay.
