Terrible Stay

We stayed here for one night on our way from kanpur to mukteswar. Due to storm we reached late and exhausted with one kid and our wheel-chair bound mother. We booked the hotel through a travel website but initially they denied our booking and also did not pick our phone on our ways to clarks inn. The bathroom was very shabby, and AC did not work properly. Service was very slow. Above all it was quite bad experience which we didnot expect from a hotel like clarks inn

Stayed in this hotel for the first time but had very bad experience, stayed in room no 303 air conditioner of the room is worst even air cooler is better then their AC , manager of the hotel is not ready to listen or meet. Never recommended

Nice Stay for Business Trip

It's a decent hotel on the outskirts of Bareilly City. But a place with good staff, smooth check in and check out. Breakfast was good with nice spread. Taste was also good. Only drawback was location but if you are having own vehicle then it can be managed also it has parking facility. Overall a decent hotel can recommend to others

Excellent Service

I stayed at this hotel for quite a long period - 5th March to 14th March, 2017. I am fully satisfied with the overall experience. The location of the hotel is good - a little far from town and surrounded by trees and parks. The staff is extremely courteous and ensures that all service come with a smile. Can remember a lot of smiling faces - Ravinder (the driver), Sushil (the captain of the restaurant), Azim, Himanshu and Dipu (at the front desk), the chef, etc. etc. who made my somewhat long stay memorable with their kindness and courtesy. And, the GM of the hotel, Mr. Indranil Roy, another wonderful and smiling personality makes it sure that the guests are comfortable. All the best Clark's Inn. Keep it up!

Great staff, average hotel

I opted for this hotel because it was listed as number 3 on Tripadvisor and in the number 1 hotel (Diplomat Residency) there was just no network.
But was a tad disappointed. The hotel is well-made for a city like Bareilly albeit a bit away (10 km) from the city. The staff is very helpful and polite. The service is lightning quick, which makes you wonder if Rajnikant is in the kitchen.
But the food is unpredictable. It can be great one day and very poor the next. The chef has somehow an affinity for salt. The breakfast had so much salt that I just ate boiled eggs and left for work.
The hotel also does not provide all it promises. It claims to provide 500 mb of free wifi everyday. But it just does not work. It is either very slow with even your mail taking ages to load on your phone or just not there. It keeps prompting "disable wifi".
There is a liquor factory behind the hotel which can on days emanate unbearable stench which can sometimes even enter your room.
We had checked into the hotel planning to stay for three days but checked out in two for reasons including the above mentioned but most importantly: A policy of the hotel that you have to make payments every day. First you pay advance room rent, then the very next day you have clear all the bills to extend your stay. It's very irritating. I didn't want to stay in a hotel that didnt trust me.
