Adequate and comfortable
phdtravelon 22/06/2017 17:13Rooms are adequate and beds are good, air condition works well. The bathrooms are small - like a cruise ship. Staff is polite and helpful.
The lobby isn't too nice - could do with some sprucing up. No bell man or personnel to help with bags. The front desk has to call a taxi for you - you won't find them outside the hotel.
Location isn't in the most glamorous part of town. The station area is more modern.
If you exit the hotel and turn left you can walk to a shopping center - restaurants that are quite inexpensive by Japanese standards.
One fault - they give one bottle of water per room for a priority club member upon check in. How much is a bottle of water anyway? Why not just have one for each guest in the room?
The Marriott has a better location and rooms but is more expensive.
Close to the Kanayama station and reception speaks English
Tombowon 19/06/2017 02:41This is a great place to stay! The rooms are large for Japan and the staff are all extremely friendly. The baths are typical Japanese ones that are nice and deep! Shower first and then fill the bath using their bath powder and sit back and relax! If you want to listen to CNN or BBC while in the bath, turn on the TV and the speaker is in the bathroom! I didn't have the breakfast for an additional ¥2,600, but it does look good! If you want to have a great view of Nagoya at night, go to the bar on the top floor. Your first drinks are half price if you are staying at the hotel. Have one of the Japanese whiskeys, as they are winning awards around the world, and the round ice cube is great! Be prepared for smoking up there though. The beds are comfortable and you can also borrow phone charging cords from the front desk. We payed ¥25,000 for the night, which is not bad for Japan, and it was a non-smoking room. If you are going to travel around Nagoya after checking out, there is also a place to leave your luggage at no additional cost. All in all, this is a great place!

This hotel is placed just at the exit of Kanayama station which give you access to anywhere in Nagoya using JR Line or Subway: short stop to JR Nagoya station, Sakae, Nagoya Port Public Aquarium and of course express train to Chubu International Airport.
if you don't really like crowded place like Nagoya Station or Sakae then this hotel will suite you. Don't worry because some convenience store and Starbuck are surrounding the hotel, many local restaurant and 1.5km walk to Aeon Mall.
Very surprised with the spacious room, large bed and lot of in room amenities.
Don't have time to try the hotel restaurant.
The Front can also order you special food, i got this information when i have dinner in Bulan Bali Restaurant (Indonesian Halal food) near Sakae. the owner said you can ask the front to order Halal food and usually they will call us to deliver.

Great location and service
Malesso_Traveleron 03/06/2017 05:05My family and I stayed at the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Grand Court Nagoya. It's about a five minute walk from Kanayama station, which is Nagoya's second major center.There i a lot of great places to eat within walking distance.
The hotel staff and accommodations were great and although a bit pricy, breakfast was outstanding. It satisfied my entire family's pallet.
The room was comfortable for hotels in Japan. The room had all necessities along with a view of Nagoya. We couldn't ask for any more.
I will certainly stay at this hotel the next visit to Nagoya.
