Really enjoyed our stay here, rooms were very clean and tidy and the hotel had a very homely feel.which was really nice.had a car park but get there early to find a place, hotel is close to a good beach and bar plus a mile walk from Falmouth town. Good breakfast too!

Travelling on my own to a funeral in Falmouth it was a pleasure to be so well looked after by Peter - nothing was too much trouble. Rare to find such an attentive person in a Hotel and as a result I did not feel uncomfortable staying on my own.

The Hotel is in a perfect setting just across the road from the beach with swanpool in one direction and town in the other. My room had amazing views of the beach and coastline and it was peaceful at night.

Breakfast was traditional and enjoyable.

I would go back and would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you to Peter!

Negatives

Room dirty - Draws too dirty to put clothes in, room thick with dust, long black hairs in sink, shower and toiletry pot (see photos). The whole B&B needs a thorough clean and paint.

Breakfast - Tinned fruit, bacon so tough that my husband gave up ordering it. Not the breakfast I would expect for this price!

Just so upset that we drove such a long way and spent so much money on this hotel. Very overpriced for the service we received.

Terrace table and chairs stacked up and not put out even in good weather.

Given 10% off and a bottle of bubbly on complaint which was nice but we still left upset that we did not enjoy our stay as expected due to low standards.

Positives - Lovely view and dining room pleasant. Owners helpful.

We took a girls only trip to Falmouth for a long weekend. Completely in love with the town, and lots of reminiscing after getting married at Pendennis Castle last year.

We booked at the Anacapri after a recommendation from one of my wedding guests last year, and am pleased to say it didn't disappoint.

Our room was a bit small for 2 girls and all their shoes, but would be perfect for normal people!!

The setting is gorgeous with great views over Gylly Beach. It's a short walk into town, and a great start for walks to Swanpool, Maenporth and of course the castle.

Our host, Peter, was fabulous. We were a little over excited on our first night, girls away without the hubbys, maybe had a shandy of 2 too many, but Peter took it all in his stride, was just lovely to us with lots of banter that continued throughout our stay.

He looked after us at breakfast and in the bar. He was so great I felt I had to email him as soon as we returned home.

Breakfast was lovely as well.

We had a great stay at Anacapri and will definitely be back.

Lovely location very close to the beach and an easy walk into the town centre. Nice breakfast freshly cooked and all the extras. Room was clean and comfortable and had a fantastic view of the bay what's not to like about waking up to see paddle board yoga 😀
