What People are saying
Fulfilling
kamarol1975on 15/09/2016 11:08This may not be a chic modern 5 star hotel. That's not the reason i'm rating it excellent. It's the whole experience staying in here and the surroundings itself.
The view, the ambiance, the air, the people had us at first sight.
It's an old hotel. But very clean and everything was in working condition. Our room was carved into the earth. It was small. A nice fit. The bathroom, a split level, is a plus. Shower with hot tub/jacuzzi. You can spend hours in it just relaxing.
Moving outside the room was its patio. The breeze and surroundings would let you relax just sitting there doing nothing. WiFi connection is good, so you may want to do some internetting outdoor. The whole place is very quiet.
A 5 mins walk will led you to the hilltop where you can have a killer view of the valley. There's a small eatery here.
The restaurant has indoor and outdoor sections, both have nice views would be a nice place for you to enjoy a cup of turkish tea.
It's a walking distance from this place to the town. be sure to ask the hotel management for shortcuts getting there.
The girl at the counter has good command of English and was very helpful. The restaurant staffs also were very friendly.

Cave hotel experience
ILynn14on 28/05/2016 07:56History was, most people in Cappadocia lived in caves back then. And being able to experience living in the cave is something. The rocks are soft rocks that can be moulded into houses and it is unique because during colder weather, the rocks keep the occupants quite warm whereas when in hotter weather, the inside of the cave is somewhat cool.
The staff are very accommodating and very very nice. We stayed here with our young kids and they love keeping our kids entertained. It is very close with the viewpoint of hot air balloons, you only need to walk uphill. I think less than 5 minutes.
The viewpoint is amazing. Weekend is the best time as there are more hot air balloons flying.
Rooftop of the hotel (near hotel's dining) is also very nice to look up at the hot air balloon. But the better photos will be from the viewpoint.
Overall, great way to experience the cave room.
Minus point, there is no parking space, so those with cars may need to park on the viewpoint or somewhere else downhill. The hotel is in the middle of an uphill road.
Sleeping in a cave
Okynekyon 27/04/2016 18:15We've been for three days in the hotel with family. Goreme is very interesting, unique place and there are a lot to see around the town.
Especially the rooms in the cave very authentic. Breakfast is good. The best is hotel staff. They are kind, polite, helpful and friendly. They make you feel at home.
