Andaz - Midtown - Fantastic
Jason Aon 30/08/2017 21:13What a fantastic hotel at a great location. It is a luxurious without feeling like a museum or too ornate. The wood floors are a nice touch, and the contemporary feel is great. The restaurants on both the ground floor and basement are fine too.
Long weekend in NYC
Brenda Ron 29/08/2017 11:47Amazing location and friendly staff made this place a no-brainer. Came to NYC for a personal vacation with my significant other and loved it. Hotel was close to everything and we were very happy with the rooms. Would easily stay here again on another trip!
Amazing hotel, hard to fault.
Dimmi78on 29/08/2017 06:51I regularly stay at the Andaz while on business as it’s right on 5th Ave and very close to Grand Central.
Pros:
- Modern and classy design.
- Rooms are enormous by NYC standards. The bathrooms are beautiful, Japanese inspired spaces.
- Location is perfect. 5th Ave on your doorstep and many subway stations close by.
- Staff are always friendly and very helpful.
- Great little restaurant on the ground level and wonderful bar downstairs.
Cons:
-Views from the rooms I’ve stayed in aren’t that good. Normally facing a wall or another building which makes them a little dark.
- Some rooms require you to take 2 different lifts as they’re in a different tower. Can be annoying at times.
A very pleasant stay in Manhattan
Giovanni Con 28/08/2017 08:22The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Manhattan, right in front the Public Library, on 5th avenue, a few block away from Times square, Port Authority and Central Station.
I stayed in a room on high floor, on the second tower of the hotel. The room was really comfortable, quiet and I would say perfect in every detail. I already knew the signature brand Andaz, and this hotel is up to its standard.
Coffee is available any time in the lobby and, after 6pm, you can enjoy a glass of wine, after a long day shopping along 5th avenue. I am sorry I did not have a chance to try the bar of the hotel, that looks really promising. Something I have to do in my next visit.
The staff is highly professional and extremely kind. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a first choice for staying in Midtown.
Andaz 5th is the best hotel in New York
Wesley Mon 23/08/2017 20:30I have been in NY for business trip in August for a couple of days. I had great experience. Everything was at the highest level starting from reception up to breakfast. The staff was very friendly, the room is spacious and the location is very close central. I put 5 stars to the hotel and really recommend it.
