We arrived at 11.30 it was 43 degrees C hot and I had a terrible headache. After driving 400 km we needed an urgent rest. We requested the female receptionist to accommodate us as soon as possible to the room reserved in advance or to another room, so that we take a shower and use the air conditioner to deal with my headache. She said it is impossible because they do not have free rooms (it was a pure lie because a whole floor above us and 3 rooms at our floor were free). She "advised" us to go to her relative's restaurant to have food at a discount. Actually we were forced to go there otherwise we cannot enter the hotel before 14.00 I tried my best to go there but the heat was impossible for my headache and we found a shelter in the nearby coffee with air condition. There were people who smoked cigarettes which worsened my condition, but I had no other chance to survive.
After coming back to the hotel the female receptionist saw my poor health condition but her first question was: Did you eat at the recommended restaurant?" They can really leave you to die but the spend money in a relative's restaurant. This inhuman behaviour puts the hotel BELOW TERRIBLE. They did not allow me to write my review in booking.com where I made the reservation using the trick that they thank me and no need to write a feedback. Thank you Trip adviser !
They did not issue cash receipt!
The walls are thin and we were hearing everything in the nearby room.
The hotel is built in the 30ties of the last century - very old despite the efforts to be renewed.
They boast they have WIFI which actually doesn't work.

Booked for just one night but would have liked to have stayed longer,when we arrived the hotel looked in quite a run down area,but what a lovely welcome when we walked in,the owner couldn't do enough for us and was lovely,told us we could have breakfast at whatever time we wished,our room although perhaps was a little dated but was spotless as was everywhere else and had everything we needed.
The breakfast was wonderful and so much but we couldn't manage to eat it all.
They directed us to a restaurant in town where we received 20% discount.Wifi didn't work very well in room .

Conveniently located! Older style hotel but clean. Room with balcony overlooking busy kozani Staff extremely helpful and lovely! Dora was more than obliging with all our questions Rooms clean and comfortable will stay again next visit ! Must check out the restaurants and bars

Clean and decent hotel

This budget hotel is simple and clean, I went there with friends when invited to a wedding in Kozani and therefore I spent there only one night. The hotel is quite old, however furniture and bathrooms are decent and well functioning. The staff were helpful and kind, which made us enjoy our brief stay.

Booked this place because it is conveniently located for my recent business trip. Due to little information found, i had no clue what to expect. I must say, i was very positively surprised.

It is a family run hotel, right next to the city center. I have stayed there for 8 nights and i could not fault the place. The staff was extremely helpful, most of them speak very good English and they made me feel very welcome. It is obvious that they do their very best to satisfy the customer. I think some UK hotels could learn of them what customer service really means.

The reception is manned 24/7, and the room service (which i mainly used for coffee) is quick and cheap. Internet is free and fast. Rooms are clean and the shower has plenty of hot water.
For the lazy ones there is also a lift.
The city center with many restaurants is a 5 minutes walk away.
There is a fair amount of traffic noise, but if the window/door is closed this is perfectly acceptable. The single rooms are rather small but with a large bed, also having a balcony big enough to sit outside. My room had aircon & TV but i did not try either of it as i prefer to leave the window open. There is also a fridge and a safe in the room.
The building is somewhat older, so it cannot be perfect, but the owners do their best to make it look tidy, i also have seen some ongoing decorating work downstairs. I personally have not been distracted by any noise from other rooms.
For me, a very good place to stay and considering the price paid, i must rate it as excellent.
I would certainly stay again.
