What People are saying

Unprepared for such a nice facility

This is a very nice hotel with terrific, spacious rooms. Unfortunately, the air conditioner did not work when we checked in and the front desk staff did not seem to care or bother to get it fixed. Finally the doorman took the effort to get it working from a remote spot behind the front desk. Also there was no wifi available when we first checked in. It also took a few hours before it was set up to work. Once these two things were fixed the rest of the stay was terrific. We had a spacious corner room with a sitting area. The bathroom was spacious and the room was clean. The location is very good for the downtown of Konya. Lots of good restaurants and shopping in walking distance. I would probably give this place a second trial if ever to return because of location and modern style of the room.

Awful

Positives:
Breakfast was fair enough.

Negatives:
Beds and sheet were dirty and old, they had stains on them.
Room had no sound isolation.
Room smelled funny.
People were smoking indoors and also there was ashtray at the room.
There was noice in the middle of the night.
Bathroom has no shower cover, when you take a shower everywhere gets wet.
Toilet tap was always leaking, it can not be closed.
Windows were not be able to shut.
Everything was awfully old.
No q-tips to use after shower.
No shampoo to use.

Had a quick one night stay. Very clean, updated, comfortable, spacious room. Only suggestion for our room is to put a fan in the bathroom. Very stuffy and needs ventilation! Other than that we enjoyed everything else. Breakfast was good and gave us a good start to our day!

Could be better for the price.

My wife and I stayed for a few nights in this hotel..The location is good. It's close to the city center and touristic locations. the staff was kind. The breakfast was Ok. but the room was very narrow especially the bathroom..you can't move easily in there. The hairdryer was broken and the plug on the wall got out of its place when I touched it. this could be dangerous if you have children.. The beds were hard as a stone and the blankets weren't washed like a few years though the bed linen was clean if you don't mind a few stains on it. the towels were clean but old..the tv was flat screen but very small like a computer monitor.. The AC worked fine but I was afraid to touch it as it was so old. If you need a room just for one night and you don't need some space you can try it but for a longer stay you're gonna need to look for a better hotel

my (1st) 5 days in Konya were made all the more enjoyable with a relaxing and trouble free stay here. Overlooking the tranquil 'tomb' of Shams Tabrizi & the adjacent parkland , the Hotel Ani and Sems is located within easy walking distance of Mevlana and much of the 'old city'. The staff were ever friendly and helpful, at least one always spoke some english & breakfast and housekeeping were both up to scratch....am hoping to stay there again.
