Its was a nice stop over on my way to Portugal. The rooms are clean and big. The views from the bedroom are amazing. You go to city (up hill) to find some good the restaurants (it would be perfect to have a restaurant over there)
Excellent Hotel with stunning views

This hotel is a lovely hotel. The veiws from the bedroom windows are amazing. There is a river with trees either side and wading birds. There is a weir right next to the hotel. It has been converted from an old mill.In the breakfast room there is a glass floor where you can still see the water coming in. When we looked out in the morning the sun was just coming up.The water had a mist rising from the warm sun.It looked beautiful.
The rooms were spacious with beamed ceilings.
Their is also a small cafeteria which is only for residents of the hotel to use.
There is a pathway along the river from the hotel into the town. It's a lovely town we'll worth a visit. It's a 10 minute walk.I can't recommend this hotel enough. The staff were very friendly too.
GOOD STOP OVER, IF A LITTLE OUT OF TOWN

Good place for a stop over, quiet location with plenty of parking (not secure) no restaurant on site only a snack bar. 10 min or so walk into town (up hill) but there are a good choice of places to eat. Breakfast was fine, room OK good value for money.
Lovely room, fantastic building

The room was lovely, big and spacious on the corner overlooking the river and woods. Staff were friendly but the bar was a little odd - don't think it helped that we were one of maybe 2 or 3 guests staying. The breakfast could have been a lot better.
The hotel is a good 10-15min walk into Cuidad Rodrigo along the river which was lovely when going into the town for dinner, but a little unnerving when returning in the dark.
Very pretty place to wake up.

A Very clean, friendly and quiet place on the edge of town.
Good value and a great place to wake up.
The Molino is an old mill nicely renovated to a 3 star boutique hotel. Sound of cascading water, set in the trees, horses grazing outside the window. Rural Spain.
