Solveig Mon 11/07/2017 22:03We stayed in Antica Dimora Johlea for three nights July 2017. Charming rooms, good beds, lovely breakfast (not only cakes and white bread), fantastic view from the roof terrace and very helpful staff that made you feel so welcome! After one stay - this is definitely my place in Florence. If you are looking for that small (only six rooms!), charming hotel this is just the thing for you. Just loved it.
Absolute best for first-time visitors
hikingadventureon 02/07/2017 21:20Antica Dimora Johlea was a beautiful, comfortable, and well-located place to stay, but what sets it apart is the *wonderful* staff. The friendly, charming, and helpful English speaking concierges help plan itineraries, tackle public transportation, choose and book restaurants and share their passion for Florence. We would definitely stay here when we return since the accommodations are so nice and the location so central, but are deeply grateful to have stayed here for our first visit. Cute breakfast and the (small) rooftop garden is perfect for nighttime viewing of the city as well as for getting one's bearings.
Spectacular Rooftop
Jan Lon 02/07/2017 16:12This boutique hotel feels as if you are in a Florence apartment with the citizens of the community instead of in a bustling tourist spot. We liked this flavor. The bed and shower were great. We arrived late due to plane problems. We were met by a very welcoming gal with our keys. Tito's Restaurant nearby was much fun. We also enjoyed meeting other guests in the evening on the rooftop where had a drink from the honesty bar. We could see the city and experience the sunset.

The location is ideal about 10 mins walk from the main centre and attractions, full of character and the staff are all so helpful. The roof terrace has stunning views across Florence and beyond and is an ideal place to start the day with breakfast and end it with a nightcap! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!!
Gorgeous B&B in the heart of Florence!

It's located on a quiet, pretty street in Florence that is an easy walk to various main tourist sites (but far enough away that you don't feel like you're stuck in the crowds). Our room was large, comfortable, and we loved the stylish, colorful decor. The common areas are just as lovely, and you cannot beat eating breakfast or having a glass of wine on the rooftop terrace. It's such a peaceful place with a beautiful view!
