Beautiful B&B
Katie Don 01/06/2017 21:16Our family of 6 stayed here for 5 nights in May and absolutely fell in love with it. The B&B is beautiful and represents the 15th century royal families that once lived there. Erica was extremely accommodating and friendly. Our rooms were beautiful. The B&B is located right in the heart of beautiful Montecarlo with plenty of shops and restaurants right down the street. I would definitely recommend this B&B.
B and B in a wonderful old palazzo
JAM1302on 04/10/2016 20:59Stayed in this beautiful old town house in the small village of Montecarlo. Elegant and comfortable with friendly personal service and delicious homemade cakes at breakfast. We would recommend La Buca del Norcino just up the road for an evening meal and a tour of the Fort if you are lucky enough to be there at the weekend.

Peter Hon 04/10/2016 14:19A very old building dating back centuries, with many old reminders of the former aristocratic owners.
It has been fully updated with modern plumbing etc, but no lift.
It is within the old walled fortress town of Montecarlo, which has several bars and good quality restaurants within walking distance.
A car is pretty essential so visits can be made to other Tuscan locations, eg Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Colotti, etc, as bus services are rare, and the nearest railway station is 2 or 3 km away .

pacion 15/09/2016 20:15stayed 5 days.Montecarlo is a very picturesc small mediaval town perfectly located to visit and explore part of Toscany : the Carrara mountains and caves, Lucca, Pistoia etc.Antica Dimora Patriziia is an old nobil town house perfectly restored and kept with modern bathrooms,big very special rooms. .Erica the ever present owner is always there to assist with every question and an perfect host. Highly recommended.
A warm wellcome
Rudi Pon 01/08/2016 18:44We stayed two nights in this place. Erica was very friendly at did her best to give us a pleasant feeling. The rooms are big but the place is old (antica😀) we also took one night dinner and the food was excellent. There is no lift so you should be in good shape if you take the rooms on the second floor. On the other hand Erica helped us with luggage to the second floor
