Quiet place although easy near thé highway and central situation.

S3004HBcharlescon 05/09/2016 10:08A beautiful appartment complex, which was sparkling clean. The family are absolutely lovely and so helpful and sweet. The appartment was so well-equipped, used the washing machine a lot after a week of camping beforehand. The pool was also beautiful, and looked new. The whole complex has been renovated to the highest standard, with a good italian design eye, with peaceful views of the olive groves. Get to the beautiful clear meditteranean easily and even went to Monaco on the train! The garden area with the appartment was bigger than expected and we sat outside for all of our meals! Would highly recommend!

Daniella and her family were just wonderful - always on hand to help out in any way needed (without being intrusive) and were so warm and welcoming. Daniela's Mother cooked us dinner (a service you can pay for) on one evening and that was the highlight of the trip for me - absolutely beautiful food in the comfort of the apartment. Her Mother also did some laundry for us to help out as our kids were getting through quite a bit! I felt like I had a 'Mother-away-from-home' :)
The apartments are beautiful, and absolutely spotless! I don't think I've ever stayed somewhere so clean! They are very well equipped.
The pool is beautiful and was never crowded - there was only ever 1 or 2 other families there the same time as us and that was peak season with all the apartments booked.
There is a nice balance between independence (your own apartment and enclosed garden) and interaction (you share the pool with other guests).
Negatives
While the grotto is really beautiful, it's really just a very small plunge pool/bath in a tiny cave, so if you're thinking 'spa resort', then you'll be diasppointed. It's a lovely little peaceful place for a quick, cool, dip though.
The breakfast is pretty expensive. While it was nice, if I were doing it again we'd have our own breakfast in the apartment.
The only problem we had was the air conditoning malfunctioning - leaking water everywhere, turning itself on and off noisily in the night. This was fixed very quickly, but I would have liked to have been offered a discount on the change of linen (I requested a change of bed linen and towels mid-week) as it was quite expensive and I'd had to use the first set of towels to mop up all the water.
The area is nice enough, but there's not all that much to do. We went more for the agriturismo itself than the location. That said, you can get to the Cinque Terra in a couple of hours drive, and that's really worth it.
Brand new resort in a very nice and relaxing location!
YleniaYon 23/10/2013 15:21The resort is a brand new one! It is located 5 minutes by car from Imperia and the seaside. It is a very quite place, the perfect place to relax in summer thanks to the swimming pool, but also by rainy days thanks to the small but cute whirpool bath in a natural cave! The apartments are wide and stylish furnished, each of them with a small private garden. Good solution to spend your holiday at any time of the year!
