A Real Gem
Rozkanon 16/11/2016 22:55We arrived late and in the dark and I can tell you that our hosts gave us a very warm welcome. This little place is a slice of New Mexico. The walls are the beautiful warm colours of the area and the house is full of beautiful hand crafted details. It is an old adobe house. There are five bedrooms all with their own bathroom. The doors are heavy and beautifully carved. This house has been lovingly restored by its owner. It has a great kitchen that is equipped with everything you need for a great breakfast. The sheets are high quality and the beds ... well I could hardly wait to get in and fall asleep each night. The dining and living area has a great fireplace and lots of reading materials. Each room has its own TV but we never turned ours on. Each bedroom has its own entrance to the outside and so you can come and go as privately as you wish. There are decks outside with comfortable chairs where you can sit. Each room has cozy bathrobes and good showers. The house is convenient and everything is Santa Fe is within walking distance and less than five minutes to the main square. Every morning we got up early to walk and enjoy the little expresso bar and bakery across the street. If you want a place like home away from home this is it. They are busy during the summer months but now is quiet and I would recommend this place for a great getaway.
Best bed and breakfast ever
jtoplus3on 04/10/2016 20:05My (then) fiancee (now) wife, visited Santa Fe to find a place as a wedding venue. We stayed at the Antigua Inn and were greeted with the most personal service, quiet surroundings and beautiful accommodations. The meals were wonderful. The Inn is within walking distance of everything one would want to see in downtown Santa Fe. The themed rooms are small but efficiently laid out and amazingly decorated. It is a must for a romantic getaway.
Wonderful
jnvpulvon 17/09/2016 01:57What a beautiful and magnificent place. This b&b is first class all the way. The bed is so comfortable you will never want to get up. The doors are all hand carved as is the dining room table. The hand carving even extends to the headboards and armoires in the rooms.
The breakfasts are all organic. If you think organic means tasteless, then you never ate here. The house brewed coffee is even organic as are the snacks provided gratis in the room. Refreshments are provided free of charge.
The inn and in particular the rooms are immaculate and beautifully appointed.
The inn itself is perfectly situated on a quiet side street just a 5 minute walk to the plaza in one direction and canyon road in the other direction.
If you are looking for the perfect getaway this is the place!
vacation in Santa Fe
josephddson 18/08/2016 21:00We chose Antigua Inn based on reviews and location. We did see one negative review and after our stay decided that person must have been crazy. The location is very convenient to the Plaza. Our room was the smallest at the inn (mariposa), but served our needs and we were comfortable. Noise levels were minimal. Breakfast was great, as well as their private label coffee and kept us full until mid-afternoon. When we get back to Santa Fe, will book a room again. We are actually talking to friends to get a trip together and rent the entire place. Laine goes out of her way to make your time in Santa Fe wonderful
A Hidden gem
dotzwarrenon 07/08/2016 17:58My husband I were stayed at Antigua Inn for 4 nights. Laine is a true advocate
for guests. Every morning, organic farm eggs with vegetables from her garden,
replenished us for the day to enjoyed Santa Fe. Room was very comfy, complementary
water, coffee and snacks were vital to hot Santa Fe weather.
A small cozy quaint place with warmth of care, added to memorable trip.
Thanks,
Suki Lee
