remotebridgesolu2017on 29/08/2017 09:10Could be a very nice hotel but not there yet. Wifi went out last 2 days of the stay. Staff was not helpful, response was we can't help you.. Really, then who could? Housekeeping was not up to the task. Very light cleaning of our room. Again,could be a nice hotel but needs more professional staff, at the least training. Looked like no one was paying attention. We travel to Ljubljana 2or3 times a year and have stayed in much better run hotels.
Nice cosy hotel in the middle of town
Chris Von 18/08/2017 11:03We stayed in the hotel with the family and had 3 rooms - all nice and clean and good. We had the room with a little patio (there is only one) - that was nice because you can step outside if you want. The garden is cosy - walls around it - little green space in town. The location is perfect for visiting Ljubjana - it is really in the center. Breakfast had everything it should have. Price/quality = very good. Of course this is not a luxury 5 star hotel, but for the price you pay, you have everything you want AND you are located right in the centre.

Very helpful staff. Nice and cozy atmosphere. Very good mattress.
Breakfast was ok, although the choice was rather small.
Beautiful hotel with welcoming staff and great location
CoraM845on 05/08/2017 20:20Great stay. Beautifully, fully renovated 300 year old building with old style furniture, very individual style and pleasant atmosphere. Very welcoming staff - notably despite the fact that we arrived in hiking boots and with backpacks, which in other 4 star hotels at times prompts odd responses. Everything was spotlessly clean and breakfast was very good quality. There is an air condition in the rooms and this hotel is very close to shops and restaurants in the beautiful city center. Very comfortable beds :)
Nice, but not four stars
Duyntjeon 04/08/2017 14:27It is a nice looking hotel, very centrally located. It's a very old building, it feels very authentic. Staff is friendly. But I do not understand why it is rated four stars, while facilities are standard. After a few weeks of camping I looked forward to a good long hot shower. And I ended up rinsing my hair with cold water, since the boiler was so small!! The bathroom also was tiny, we couldn't be in there at the same time.
When we arrived, we were told that we could have a welcome drink. But it was already late in the afternoon, so we decided to go into town. So we did not end up having our welcome drink. But when I ordered a cappuccino with my breakfast it was on the bill. I think the welcome drink could have compensated that.
We did have a good night of sleep, even though there was a salsa festival in front of the hotel. Normally we would have liked to stay and watch, but we were so tiered! So after closing the windows the noise was a lot less. And after twelve 'o clock the music already stopped. So it was easy to sleep then.
