Convenient, Quaint and Great Staff
KaelaPhillion 19/01/2017 00:26I recently stayed at the APA hotel Susukino with my partner, and we both agree it is one of our favourite hotels in Japan, and it is one of the cheapest hotels we have stayed at!
Location wise it is approximately a 15 minute walk from Sapporo station, which itself is also an enormous mall. The walk is also lined with a multitude of restaurants and various shops.
Our room was spacious, especially the bathroom which included a large bathtub and a separate shower head for traditional Japanese bathing.
The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful; after losing the keys to my suitcase one staff member immediately understood my problem and promptly returned with enormous bolt cutters! They can also speak basic English.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the APA hotel Susukino and would highly recommend it.
Good value for money
AdrianinJapanon 04/11/2016 00:34Right by the HosuiSusukino subway station (exit 6). Grumpy staff who took my ID & copied it without saying a word. As a permanent resident of Japan the hotel is not legally obliged to do this. The room rate was cheap but the rudeness of the staff has put me off staying there again. Plenty of other hotel choices in Sapporo.
Room was clean and quiet.
Okay Hotel
LemonJaneon 24/06/2016 10:15We are here right now, staying just for one night and moving over to another hotel tomorrow. It is a typical Japanese chain hotel, simple furnishing, a little aged but clean and just one minute walk from Hosuisusukino station, exit 6. Walk left to end of block then left again. This has been the largest semi-double room we have stayed in Japan, maybe because it is a corner room - it has 2 windows. We are happy with its close distance to the subway, the ramen street, Odori Park, Tanukikoji shopping street, Sapporo TV Tower and the underground shopping space all the way to Sapporo JR station.

Rajesh Ton 04/12/2015 01:07I was on a business trip to Sapporo and spent two nights at this hotel. It was small room, but very clean. The hotel is value for money. Free wifi was very fast. Although, it is in 10 minutes walk from JR Station, there is also other train station in 3 minutes walk. There are many nice, good but relatively cheap restaurants nearby for breakfast and dinner. For me it was so accessible.

Yeo Kon 02/03/2013 14:24If you travel by subway, Hosui Susikino Station(Toho Line) at exit 6. Out from the station you can see another APA hotel at your far right in front but not that one. Turn left immediately when you out from the exit, turn in the first left turn and this hotel is just right in front in your left hand side. Toilet and bathroom are separated. A private jacuzzi bath tub in the room is a plus after a tiring shopping and walking around. The staff are polite and helpful. The most important, the price and location are just perfect for free and easy travelers. Will stay again if come back here!
