What People are saying

lovely weekend

sjwallworkon 17/04/2017 20:32

We had a great holiday saying at this hotel. Sandra and her staff were so welcoming. the room was clean and tidy and very comfortable. Breakfast was just what we needed before a day on the slopes. We all had a great evening meal at the restaurant.

Ski trip and stay at San Antonio

shunalison 08/04/2017 11:05

The best thing about San Antonio is its owners, the very congenial Alexandra and her husband who run the property. Alex made us feel very welcome and looked after, helping us with our ski lift pass bookings and other smaller requirements personally. San Antonio is a family run property, neat, cosy and comfortable with a choice of restaurants and a spa. Must add here that the food was unexpectedly good and rich in flavours, which is more than one can ask for when one is around the Swiss/Austrian Alps. The rooms are remarkably spacious too by European standards and come with a kitchenette which makes it easier if you are travelling with young kids like I was. It isn't a luxury hotel however and this suited us just fine because we spent most of our time on the slopes anyway.

The property, is tucked away in one of the quieter lanes right next to the ski slopes, making it a 5 minute walk to the ski lifts and even though there is a bus service to and from the lifts, we did not end up availing of it even once.
The village was a short walk away and has plenty of hotels there as well, but being located by the main street, which is buzzing with life incidentally, might be a bit noisy for some.

Great Ski location

Lovely modern hotel but just lacks a personal touch here and there.
Sauna and steam rooms are a great bonus.

Rooms are serviced every day but soaps etc not replenished.
No kettle in room.
Breakfast is dreadful with little choice.
Rooms have no emergency numbers or fire regs visible.

Great hotel, great location, not great service

Amazing hotel facility wise except the rooms had no fridge or kettle which as a brit i struggled with! The rooms were cleaned everyday but they didn't clean any rubbish or get rid of dirty cups etc.
The location is great, a short walk to intersport and very near the nursery slopes and bubble lift
The service however left a lot to be desired. The couple that own it were very cold, with fake smiles on the first day but after that it all turned sour. Everything seemed to be an annoyance, with one of our family members having to go in an ambulance on the first night and yet the next day we were simply told off for not attending breakfast and were reluctant to keep us updated from the hospital's phone calls. I am a sensitive person and I found it upsetting to feel like I was in trouble every time i was in their presence.
It is unfortunate that their lack of simple manners and professionalism had to ruin my review on a beautiful building with lovely rooms and lovely bathrooms.

Our family stay at San Antonio Hotel in Sankt Anton

tesznerpon 02/01/2017 08:54

San Antonio Hotel has large and spacey rooms, well furnished, quite new, and comfortable BUT a very cold welcome, to say the least. Several examples:
> our room, that of our children, and of our parents was cold; the radiators were working on and off, and when we told the owner at the reception, she kept arguing that everything was OK. We ended up being cold, at times, in the rooms, without any further message or support from the hotel management
> the wash room downstairs, equipped with washing machines, tumble dryers etc... was open; nothing was mentioned it was private property, and nobody was around, so we used it to wash some of our clothes; we got scolded for not having asked...
> every time we met the hotel's owners, they turned a very annoyed face at us, as if our presence was not desirable...
I believe overall San Antonio is a very decent hotel, but the price we paid (close to 500 Euro per night for our "suite" with 3 en-suite rooms and bathrooms) is not worth such a cold and unprofessional welcome and attitude. It is the first time I experience such a negative welcome in Austria, which normally is very professional and friendly for tourists.
Thanks for your attention
