Relaxing place to stay

Stayed for 10 days in April 17. Apartment was fabulous, over 3 floors, next to the pool. Restraints on site cater for many tastes and price ranges. The kids loved the train that takes you into the main town. Can thoroughly recommend.

A roof with a view

Booked a top floor apartment in the Prestige part of the Old Village through Village 4U lettings. (522) great apartment, opposite the Four seasons. The advantage of this apartment is the Roof terrace, no shadows just great views.

The apartment had all you need, the dishwasher was not working but did not really need it. Very clean and the maid service was excellent. For €5 you can hire beach towels that save on the packing. The old village itself is very pretty a few places to eat and drink. The central square courtyard most popular and a great happy hour (s)

The booking process was easy and the replies from 4U lettings quick and good information. They are not open Sunday but as you arrive a quick call to security and taken straight to your apartment.

The location is about 20-30 min walk to Marina, various routes and your choice of speed. If you want to head straight to Marina then walking from complex straight down hill, turn left and across road to park. Keep to right and follow path. when you leave park you will turn left and right onto crossing point. Here you will have some choices, keep right past Burger king and you have a lovely walk through gardens also on way to Falcesa beach. Go straight across road instead of turning past burger king and you follow road direct to Marina passing the Roman villa museum on way.

The Marina has gone a bit more commercial over the years and evening it will be busy, day time lot more space.

There are plenty of places to eat away from the Marina.

just stayed 4 nights in this 3 bed end terrace house. great location within walking distance to bars and small supermarket. the house is a bit tired and basic but the kitchen is fine with everything you need. the stairs inside the house are not child friendly (or older person friendly) no rails and tight spiral like so you need to be very careful. beds are like blocks of concrete so if you are used to a softer mattress you will struggle. the village is a great family location with 4 swimming pools but you will need to beat the British and Irish to the sun-beds very early in the morning if you want to enjoy your stay (bizarrely although staff will appear to ask you to pay for the sun-bed there is no management around the pool areas so families will put out the towels at sunrise and not use them until midday but if anyone does grab a sun-bed and actually lay on it you'll be charged €3 for the day). the village is about 30 minute walk into the marina or €5-€6 by taxi

relaxing holiday

The self contained town house we stayed in was ideal as it was a minutes walk from the square and bars and supermarket. It was very clean and had everything provided from washing machine cooker microwave fridge freezer even an iron etc.
It was like home from home.
The staff were all friendly and it was a 20 minute walk to the beach/marina. The food in the square was excellant as was the service. Really loved it here and could not find any faults at all. It was also about a 5 minute walk to some of the golf courses.

We rented through OV international.

The village is like replica of a pretty Mediterranean village but updated. It has a great village square with nice bars and places to eat.

The gardens are very pretty and well maintained.

We had a studio ground floor apartment. It was very clean and well equipped, unusual for this type of resort. We were only here for one night so we did not make use of the kitchen, dishwasher or washing machine.

The apartment is very bright and light which is lovely during the day but even with semi black out curtains the room was flooded with light by 6 am!

The management company are a touch odd. .they only deal in cash and no receipts were provided..

Saying that they were polite helpful and maintain their apartments well. They are incredible value too.. just €43 for one night!
