Great place to stay with family go every year now will never go anywhere else everytime we go it's even better my children are 14 & 5 been taking 14 year old for years and she still loves going make
Sure you bring enough money it's not all that cheep but it's a lovely place

Stayed here as a surprise from our friends before going to Malaga Airport the next day. What a surprise, a lovely surprise! We walked into the apartment and all said 'Wow'! Stayed in February so was expecting it to be cold but was pleasantly surprised with the weather, a lot windy on the mountain side but that was to be expected, but warm with beautiful looking over the complex. Lovely clean apartment with everything you would need. Lovely comfortable beds and everything was immaculate! Nice and easy to get to the supermarket below the complex and a stunning Indian restaurant a very short walk away. Would definitely stay here again

Rented the penthouse. Only one bedroom was nice and had a view. Hot tub on the patio wasn't working. The indoor pool is at the hotel and pretty far and not nice to walk back up afterwards.
Gym costs extra.
Our couch was broken. Balcony was nice, we had pretty noisy neighbors though.
Bedroom towards the highway is very loud at night.

Very good apartment great for two couples sharing with two bedroom and two bathrooms. Good size balcony, ample kitchen for making small lunches, snacks etc. Clean and contemporary, secure with gated entrance. Two pools, one clearer than the other, too cold in November for dipping but lovely to sit by with grassy verge and sea view. I did like the fact that the sun beds were only on one side so you had an incredible view rather than looking at other sunbeds. Easy parking, right next to Carrefour for quick shopping. 5 mins drive from Benalmadena peublo with amazing restaurants (La Fuente & El Nina) and beautiful plaza de Espagna. We used the spa attached to the THS Reserva del Higueron hotel (5 mins drive down steep hill) which was good at 30 euros each (discounted by 6 euros for apartment hirers) and also dined in the hotel which was great tapas. Short drive to Mijas (still lovely even after all these years) and Benalmadena Marina (less so, touristy but good shopping and gorgeous sunsets over the marina).

We had a Great week in one of the penthouses (called atico) in reserva del higueron. Even though we did not need two of the three bedrooms, it was very spacious with a great balcony and an amazing view. The beach is a bit far, but no problem with your own car (go before 11 am to get a parking spot at the beach). The supermarket downstairs was very convenient. To sum up - we will come back ...but only to this apartment ;)
