Great value apartments.

When first arriving I was a little concerned as there seemed to be nothing around apart from other apartments it was late afternoon and I wanted to get water and a few other things but the apartment shop was closed (earlier than advertized) walking outside to find a store and nothing for miles, the reviews said 6 minute's from the Europa centre , it was but in the other direction, Doh! Once in the apartment it was clean , spacious and had a nice view. The shop when opened was ok and stocked all the basics, although the women in there was permanently on her phone and you had to wait for her to finish which was a bit annoying. Never really used the pool and bar area but looked ok. There was a beach path , I use the word path loosely it was very steep, with loose rocks and stones and was a bit of a deathtrap but it cut out about 15 minutes walk if you used it. Luckily Taxis were very reasonable and we used these a lot to get back from the beach and to go out at night. So once we got our bearings it was an ok location but a little out the way of everything for my liking. The beach was lovely with plenty of things to do, good restaurants etc and the Europa centre had a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops saying that we mostly went to the main Commercial centre by taxi at night much bigger with more of everything. So in summary the apartment was very good in itself,had good facilities, great shower the only negative was the lack of plug sockets my girlfriend had to dry her hair in the kitchen with no mirror, massive mirror in the bedroom but no socket near so bad planning on that front. if going again to that resort though, taking account the money over the week spent on taxis I personally would try and find somewhere closer to the main centre.

The roslara are great apartments had a great time there quiet and relaxed kids enjoyed it as well .The staff are also great had no complaints also there is a small shop open to 7pm the apartments themselves were great had no complaints about the apartments they were a good size well equipped a little dated but good. The view from the apartments over amadores beach is really nice and the apartments are a short 10 min walk to the Europa centre up a a slight hill only thing is if going to the beach you are better getting a taxi only costs around 3 euros the beach is down a steep hill not good for people with walking problems the walk takes about 25 mins although its not that far to sum up the apartments good location ,great staff, clean , family friendly and secure we are looking to book up again for 2018 loved it here.

Decent enough for a cheap family holiday

We arrived as a family of 4 and had no problems checking in as the reception was open.
I believe that if you arrive after 7pm they leave a note on the reception door with your room number and your keys in your room. This wasn't a problem for the guests we spoke too.

There are lots of steps. Lots and lots :-) There is however , a lift that will take you down to the reception.

The pool bar servers burgers , beer etc and Margrite tries hard although she does seem to look after the reception and the pool bar.
Onsite shop sells basic amenities with a Spar not far far away.

These are decent apartments with large balconies that get the sun all day long. The pool area is better than it looks in the pictures and is a welcome relief from the heat.

As with most of the hotels on this side of Puerto Rico , it is located near the top of a small mountain :-) There is a rear entrance which leads to a rocky path down to the beach but it would be a struggle for people with a buggy or mobility issues. This path knocks a good 20 mins off the other route down the winding roads.

We walked back up on the first day and decided that we would never do that again. Taxi back from the Glorious Amadores beach is 3.5 Euros.

Europa Centre is out the main entrance and turn right , end of road turn right and stay left. 5 to 10 min walk.
Europa Centre has all the usual restaurants , bars , "entertainment" etc.

Puerto Rico beach area has a shopping centre.

The best bits are the views which are simply stunning. Large Balconies and clean apartments. Decent pool area.

The only bad bits for me was the distance from the beach (my fault)

Amadores beach is absolutely stunning.

If i were to return to Gran Canaria i would stay further down nearer Puerto Rico beach area.

We were greeted with quite a frosty reception by the lady. Gave the impression we were annoying her with questions. There is wifi however you do have to pay for it. Beds were excellent and comfy! However the showers and baths do not come with hot water, a minor problem. Also not sure on the fact that there is a hairdryer connected in the bathroom, wouldn't be happy if I had my children staying. Quite a distance located away from Puerto Rico main centre.

Me & my husband stayed from 15th -22nd June. Pleasantly surprised, quite a large lounge/kitchen dinner, with a fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, excellent facilities if you want to cook!. Maids visited every other day and changed towels, emptied bins etc. We had our bed changed once whilst we were there. We have been to lots of SC apartments, we have never had maids so often or the beds/towels changed that regular. Pool was great no too cold, we met some lovely people to chat too around the pool. You didn't have to reserve beds which was great. We went up at 11am one day and there was no one by the pool. Views from the spacious balconies were stunning, watching the sun set!!. We were on a steep hill which we knew, walk down to Amadoras beach 10/15 minutes or Peurto Rico down the steps to the beach 20 minutes. We would definitely return as we had a great holiday.
