Lovely guesthouse, amazing staff!

Apartelle de Gabrielle is a 10 minute walk from Coron town, and has a gorgeous rooftop restaurant/common area with a great view of the bay. Our double room was very small - you could only open the door halfway due to the bed being in the way - but cosy, comfy and air-conditioned. The bathroom was nice, with a decent shower (only cold water though but who cares), and towels, soap and toilet paper are provided.

The wifi is erratic, as in most of Coron, and there is a lot of occasionally noisy building work taking place around the guesthouse, but these are minor issues.

The best part is the staff... delightful, warm and kind. They couldn't do enough to help us; they even brought us free warm soup when I contracted food poisoning from elsewhere, and checked in with me throughout the day to see if I was OK - so thoughtful!

Definitely recommended, although not for older or less mobile guests as it's quite a steep climb up 2 staircases to get there.

Warm Welcome But Only Cold Water

Location: Just outside the city center. A tricycle will cost 10 php (20 cents) per person to get to the city. It is on a hill so walking to the city is possible but it would be better to take a tricycle back. 40 minutes from the airport by van. 15 minutes from the port by tricycle.

Property: The reception is located on the second floor of a 4 story building.It seems as if the next building is also included but I'm not sure. When we were there in July 2017, there was construction going on in the next building. There are rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor with a rooftop restaurant with a beautiful view of the city and the water.

Room: It was small but had ample space. No drawers or wardrobe. Just a full size bed, TV, nightstand, and a TV stand. The bathroom had a shower nozzle, sink and a toilet and no hot water. Both room and bathroom were clean.

Service: The staff was very helpful. We used their laundry service. They returned the clothes after 24 hours and it was inexpensive (50 PHP/1 USD a kilo). We were able to use their dining room and plates and utensils to eat food we bought from outside. They provided transport to the airport for 150 PHP/3 USD per person. Their restaurant had a variety of offerings for breakfast. They could also serve dinners but did not offer it while we were there. WiFi was weak but it is weak throughout Palawan. Ironically, after a "brownout," the WiFi connection was at its strongest.

I would recommend this property for all types of travellers.

Stayed for 5 days and 4 nights and the service we got is beyond Amazing. From the time we arrived, everyone's soooo friendly and would even guide you on what are the things they offer. the only thing to get 5 stars is the menu for breakfast, no chicken being offered. LOL. But overall experience is really good and we'll definitely stay here again.

very helpful, friendly and happy personnel - they arranged our airport shuttle, transportation to maquinit hot spring, laundry, extra day accommodation, helped with our bags - and we also witnessed them find a way to accommodate an elderly person with mobility problems who was not part of the original reservation of a large group of vacationer guests.

felt like a homestay :D

Stayed for 4D3N in this homey, accessible place. Slept comfortably in their big room. Provided us with welcome drinks. Ms. Lanie was very helpful with our quiries. Awesome view in their resto area.
You just need to take a flight of stairs before you reach the frontdesk. It was a hurdle after the kayangan trek due to leg pains(hahaha!)
Very near to balinsasayaw n kawayanan resto as well as thw souvenier shop
