I booked the Aparthotel in Ivry, very last minute, the day before I travelled to Paris. I paid approx £211 for four nights.
The hotel was less than ten minutes walk from the local train station, which also takes you straight into the centre of Paris on the the yellow RER line. (You can get a 5 day metro ticket for less than £40 which allows unlimited travel).
I felt very safe walking to and from the station alone, even late at night, however, I also used local Uber taxis who were fab when I had miscalculated the trains. I recommend downloading that app, along with google translate.

There is 24hr check in. The gentleman who was on the desk throughout Thursday (15th June) night was very friendly and helpful. I had not eaten for ten hours and it was almost 11pm when I arrived. He gave me a pizza menu for a local takeaway, got me choose what I wanted and then he called it through for me. When it arrived, he called my room so I could come down and pay. That was just what I needed, that extra touch. Thank you.

My room was great. It was very basic and not very exciting - white wash walls and standard furniture, but it was clean, quiet and comfortable, which is just what you need, besides, you'll not be in the room 24/7! The shower was a challenge - extremely powerful - I would say too much. 1) it was a little uncomfortable and 2) it pushed the shower curtain out of the tray so the water flowed onto the floor. With a bit of repositioning with the shower curtain and shower head, it is manageable, but not the best - but that may just have been my room.

There is a kitchenette built in between the bathroom and the bedroom, complete with fridge and ice box, microwave and two hob rings, coffee machine and kettle. This area was sparkling clean and a great addition to be able to store perishable food or cook something inexpensive if you don't want to eat out. Travelling alone, this was a great option and there was a small supermarket less than ten mins walk away (Franprix), which stocked fresh produce, cupboard items, drinks, toiletries etc. Perfect.

Breakfast (from 7-10 weekdays and 8 - 11 weekends) was nice but very basic - pastries, bread, yogurt, toast and preserves. If I was to go back, I wouldn't bother booking breakfast again. I would get things from the supermarket for my stay, then I can eat whenever I get up, and eat what I want to.

The staff were friendly and helpful - even more so if you make an effort to try and speak in French.
All in all I had a very pleasant stay. It was perfect for someone travelling alone and when I go back to Paris, I would definitely consider staying there again. Thank you Aparthotel Adagio!

Weekend stay

On arrival we were given a free upgrade to a superior room which was spotlessly clean and had a nice bathroom. We had been in our room for a few minutes when reception rang to see if we were happy with our room, They brought up an extra pillow , as requested , inmediately.
The hotel is in a suburb with good RER access to Paris. There is a big shopping mall close by with a big supermarket. It is a quiet district and we did not mind road maintenance .
We enjoyed our stay and thought the hotel was a good base. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned daily with clean linen and towels. We will use these apart hotels again.

Clean and staff helpful

The Hotel / Apartment was ok but the area wasn't. There was a lot of road work going on round most of the streets around the hotel. The apartment was small but ok for the few nights we stayed, there is a microwave and two electric rings and cutlery for two people, although there was only one mug it wasn't a problem asking for one. There is a very good supermarket just a couple of blocks away although it looks scruffy we realised this was the back entrance. Unfortunately the room stunk of smoke and there was cigarette burns on the sink, but this is not the fault of the Hotel because there are no smoking signs in the room. The train station to Paris centre is not far away but buy a two or more day ticket it is cheaper. And another warning don't sleep with balcony door open both me and my husband came home with mosquito bites.
