Really enjoyed the stay
John Bon 31/01/2017 09:45We booked an appartement for one night. From the outside the hotel doesn't look great but once inside we had a really nice reception from the owner. We were going to wander around to look for a place to eat but we decided to try the hôtel restaurant. The food was good and reasonably priced and the wine (Fendant du Valais) was excellent.The appartment was really warm and cozy we had great views of the mountains. It was also super clean and had under-floor heating in the bathroom. There was everything you needed for a self catering holiday in the kitchen area but we only made coffee since we were only there for one night. (And the coffee was great by the way.) During the afternoon snooze we were woken by people singing outside as they carried the Virgin though the streets below. A nice way to be woken. Other than that the beds were great and the appartement was really quiet. The morning breakfast was fantastic and just what you need before a mountain hike in the snow. Fresh bread, cheeses, cereals and bircher etc...All great. There was ham too but I don't eat meat. The only thing missing was Cenovise! We really want to return and are looking at dates.
Some reviews have said that the hotel was dated and that they were disappointed and I can understand that but I wasn't looking for the Ritz in the Swiss Alpes to be honest. I like things that are a bit dated but well maintained with pride. Most importantly all the staff were very friendly and were always smiling. The hotel had such a nice calm feeling about it and made our stay really memorable

The room has big balcony then you can enjoy the Leuk view .The man at the restaurant is friendly too. The lication is very central , just a few steps from the bus station . A lots of restaurants are around

BurcinOzcanon 20/12/2016 09:50Very clean and spacious rooms. The owners were very friendly and helped us with everything. The only issue was the noise coming from the heating but nothing major. Nice breakfast. Definitely would go back again.
Centrally located with great views
Dan Pon 26/10/2016 09:53Our experience with this family run hotel was very positive. From the check-in to the check-out, the reception staff/owners are very friendly, efficient and professional.
The nice welcome we received gave us a wonderful feeling of "home away from home". We stayed here for 3 days for hiking and wellness. The advice and recommendations we received from the owners for points to visit were very helpful.
Great central location, just a short walk from/to the bus station. The room we had (studio of 45m2 on 3rd foor) was spotlessly clean and the bathroom equal in quality to that of many more costly hotels. The entire hotel was very clean although some areas a bit “dated” but we found this very charming. The view from the balcony (equipped with table and chairs) was breathtaking.
The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and courteous.
The breakfast buffet is large and varied with many regional products. It gave us a good start for the day.
We would come back with pleasure should we visit Leukerbad again.

chacharleeon 23/10/2016 22:57We stayed one night to do the Erlebnis via ferrata. Centrally located in the town. Big room with large balcony and sun loungers. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of homemade jams. Would recommend!
