Perfect holiday

I spent 11 nights at this hotel with my partner. Lovely spacious and spotlessly clean apartment. Excellent kitchen facilities, sun terrace with amazing view of Mahon port. Lovely swimming pool, good restaurant with friendly staff. Peaceful setting, small supermarket 5 minutes walk but otherwise you really need a car to explore. Free minibus from hotel will take you to a lovely beach - you need to take your own parasol- and also to Mahon daily. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely pool and friendly staff

The hotel is excellent. The rooms are spacious and clean. The kitchens are comprehensive – an oven and hob, stove kettle, toaster, plates, pots, cutlery etc. Everything you need to cook for yourself. You are also given a small washing up liquid. The air conditioning in the room works perfectly – it is easy to keep the room cool with the a/c and shutters.
The staff are friendly and polite.
The free shuttle is advertised as leaving at 11, returning at 5.30, but we were kindly brought back at 3pm instead as we were the only passengers that day.
Cala LLonga is extremely quiet. The bar and restaurant at the hotel is the ONLY restaurant in the whole town. There is no other in walking distance. The only other provision in the town is a small supermarket. There are also no beaches in walking distance. If you were staying here I would highly recommend getting a rental car, unless you don’t mind being by the poolside every day. We hired a car towards the end of our stay, which was great. The roads are easy to drive on and the hotel is located close to many beautiful locations. There is also plenty of available parking at the hotel to park the car for free. Taxis are quite expensive – it is probably better value just hiring a car.

Well situated. Staff were so friendly, helpful and hard working. Nothing was too much trouble. If I return to Menorca, I'll definitely be staying here. Very nice and quiet and everywhere spotlessly clean all round. I hired a car since Mahon isn't within walking distance.

We stayed here for just 2 nights on a mini break to Menorca for my birthday. The staff were lovely and the apartment with sea views was very clean and smelt very fresh. The bathroom functional but basic. We would definitely make a return trip to this place.

Great Value Hotel in Quiet Setting

We stayed here for a week in late Spring in order to explore more of the Eastern area of Menorca. We hired a car from the airport which was essential for our type of holiday which consists of walking, photography with beaches for relaxation. As others have said the staff are a great asset to the hotel, very friendly and helpful. The rooms all have a reasonable view towards part of Mahon harbour/port albeit a distant one. The apartments are of a good size, very clean and perfectly adequate, beds comfortable and clean. The general condition could best be described as perfectly functional but not new or state of the art. You would need to pay much more for better!
We stopped at a B and B rate but did eat in the Cala Cafe most evenings for convenience. The menu was reasonable with some good dishes. The only disappointment was the meatballs in sauce which was rather tasteless but other than that the other dishes were prett good. The server in the cafe in the evenings (Jairo I think) was excellent in every way.
Breakfasts were buffet style for cold items with a pretty good choice. A selection of hot items is cooked on request and was fine.
In summary I would recommend this hotel as a good base for those wanting to see the island and therefore have a car. It would suit those people who appreciate a quite environment for a peaceful break without hotel based entertainment. If you want a value hotel with excellent caring staff in a quite urban area then this place would be ideal for you.
