Brilliant place to stay

We really enjoyed the Pharia - the rooms were very clean and the staff so helpful. The bed was also remarkably comfortable. It was easy to access the beach and Hula Hula (!) but a little out of the madding crowd which was also pleasant. Having a balcony was also such a plus, as was good aircon in the rooms.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and we loved it! Rooms are a touch small however they have everything you need. Request a room with a balcony - it's worth it! Rooms were very clean & staff were very friendly, always happy to help. Only 2 minute walk away from the beach & 5 minute walk away from the hula hula beach club.

Really nice stay here at the Aparthotel, price performance 👌🏻, nice rooms, nice service and we defenitly weren't the easiest clients 😉
Especially the check out and breakfast, turned out to be late ones and we still got served well.

Perfect hotel for us!

Two adults and two children were here 3 nights. The standard was better than we expected. The children (10 and 12) slept together in a sleeping sofa in their own room, and this was no problem for them. The apartment had a small kitchen if you want to make your own food. The breakfast costs 9€, and this was ok. 15 minutes walk to the center of Hvar, but this was no problem for us. Nice promenade by the sea. I can recommend this hotel. Quiet neighborhood. Good value for money.

We stayed at Pharia with my family - 2 adults, 2 kids. Our apartment was very clean and tidy and the air conditioning worked very well. Comfortable beds. Kitchen was small but functional. Water pressure was great, but the shower immediately flooded the entire bathroom - However for some reason that seems par for the course with all showers in aparthotels in Croatia. WiFi was great - Strong signal and lots of bandwidth. I don't understand the comments about the beach being far away - There's a quaint little beach literally a one minute walk out the back of the property, and the town of Hvar is an easy 15 minute walk along the seaside boardwalk. Water taxis are available from the nearby Hula Hula club. There's a small but well-stocked grocery store just up the hill from the hotel. Staff were great - Particularly when my young son picked up a tummy bug and vomited all over the bathroom. Even in the evening, they were able to send over a cleaner and a set of new sheets.

There were issues with noise, however. Hvar is a party island, so we purposely chose a location outside of town in the hopes it would be a little quieter. Nevertheless, it's not immune from the young partiers that populate the island. Well into the evening we had to deal with shouting in the halls, squealing girls and loud music. Yes, we could have gone to the front desk to complain, yes we could have called down, but when you've put the kids to bed and finally laid down the last thing you want to do is get up and start making complaints. We just screwed in earplugs and ignored it. The hotel really needs some staff the wander the halls every 15 minutes and shut down partying guests.

Finally, one important note: While the tripadvisor listing says "breakfast included" this isn't true. Breakfast is an extra 10e per person. Not really an issue for us as we made breakfast in our unit and you're able to purchase coffee separately, but if you're booking based on 'free breakfast' (that isn't free) make sure you factor this into your budgeting.
