Get what you pay for, apartment was small but suited us as there was only two of us... spent our days out doing things so wasn't too bad. No air conditioning but got free fan from reception... apartments were warmer than outside so not ideal... pool area was good pool never busy and always beds available, breakfast was rip of at €10 each, walk to beach from behind hotel and get breakfast down there for €2.95! Only a pool bar, no restaurant, walk to main strip about 10 mins or 4/5€ in a taxi, overall good time

First night in the hotel we had to request a room change as the pull out sofa bed was broken with two metal parts protruding from the base. No air con,kettle,toaster, not even a remote for the television. 15:00 on day 2 received our room change and had to ask for a kettle . Rooms are dated and fairly tight plus an issue with ants around the kitchen area. Fifth time in Tenerife staying in three star accommodation and this hotel is below average.

Holiday ruined!

We initially booked this property in January and it was cancelled, with the location promising to refund our money. We then rebooked this holiday and paid in full again for a total of 11 guests. Back and forth with emails from January to July trying to get our refund until we arrived at the very average property (no air con, deposit for tv remote, very small rooms). We had to go to the reception desk all throughout our holiday to try and receive our money (€600+!) , and each day they had an excuse claiming that it was a problem with our bank (that I knew wasnt true) and that we needed to ring them ourselves as they would not allow us to ring them using their desk phone. The manager barely spoke to us and let the staff at the desk speak to us most days which I think is very unprofessional. I had to spend over an hour in my apartment room, phoning my bank off my mobile who said they never heard anything like it and that there is no problem whatsoever with my account receiving money, the money would go straight in no problem, if they had made the refund. We spent so much time of our holiday at the desk, worrying about the money and in the end she promised us (again) that the money would be in my account. We had to leave for the airport without the money in the account, without them handing over cash, or without them giving us an invoice or any proof of refund. Just another promise that the money would be in. There is STILL no refund in my account from this hotel. Do not stay there if you want to relax and have a stress free holiday!!

This is a great little place. Stayed in a studio. Small but very clean. Staff at recption are lovely. If you need a kettle or hairdryer, just ask and they will deliver one to your room asap free of charge. Only little niggle i had was toaster not turned on so had to wait 10 mins for it to warm every morning so rest of breakfast went cold. labels required on teas as thete was a great variety but i didn't know what there were, Other wise enjoyed our stay.

After reading reviews I was a little sceptical. But I needn't have been. The udalla is cheap and cheerful, however, it is clean. The location is fabulous. With a 10 min stroll to the beach, and to the strip... there's loads of local bars that are nearby if you just want to stay local. The staff are friendly. The pool is lush, with adequate sun beds. Furthermore, Reserving is frowned upon.

I am definitely going to return. I went with a friend, but ended up being alone, due to circumstances beyond my control, but I was never made to feel uncomfortable. Even in the local bars and restaurants.
