Great Views.
LA_Love_iton 13/04/2005 05:30Positioned right on the Huang Pu river, near one of the ferry terminals. The Bund is a walk, or quick cab away. The views of Pudong and the river are great. I spent a lot of time staring at the world going by. (torn hamstring!)
There is a bit of noise from the traffic and bus station, earplugs a good idea.
Front desk have limited English - you should be able to get along ok. The rooms are past their best, but comfortable, and always hot running water.
The phone rings a lot with offers of 'massage' and you cannot unplug it! have a word with front desk, it tends to abate it.
Not the best or worst hotel, but a good option if better locations are full.
