Worst experience ever
AirSunon 21/12/2016 00:14The room itself was ok, reasonably clean and not too noisy (despite facing a busy road). However staff were incredibly rude, and threatening. I was absolutely shocked by this kind of behaviour. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
Great in a pinch
Liz Fon 21/09/2016 16:58My fiancé and I recently stayed here because of the proximity to the US embassy in Berlin. We were so relieved to stay here, the host was gracious and kind and even printed some documents for us upon our arrival. Although my fiancé speaks German the host spoke in English for my convenience which in most cases doesn't happen. The rooms were clean with a balcony on each side and the location was perfect for our situation. There is a shopping center within walking distance with a grocery store. We were very pleased with our stay.
As other reviews have noted, this is a family run hotel, it's not a Hilton. It is clean, with comfortable beds, friendly staff and adequate breakfast. It will meet most people's needs.
Good location
andreas bon 30/07/2016 14:12This is not a fancy hotel, but it is clean and satisfactory in most ways. Personally, I was very pleased by the beautiful walk to the FU Berlin and the proximity to the wood. I tried to speak German with the lady in the reception, but my colleague told me that she did speak English despite what some other reviewers experienced. The hotel is next to a big road which is a bit unpleasant at night. Tip: keep the windows open to th other side.

Ulrich Hon 24/07/2016 07:49We stayed for 2 nights as our hotel was fully booked for parts of our stay. Room on 1st floor - not very spacious and a bit noisy from Clayallee. Bathroom tiny and you have to shower in the bathtub which is far too high, no shower curtain. Room quite aged. We skipped breakfast as it did not look inviting
Just your average hotel
ITexpertson 18/11/2015 18:45If you used to live in Hiltons, Radisons and Sheraton, then it might be thaty you will find this hotel to be a bit weird, but in average i got what i need - it was nearby to my office, bars/restaurants are next to it, location also is ok.
Plus: Location, price
Minus: Language, German or russian, forget english. others find houselady to be a bit rude, but i do not care about that. Floor squeaks :)
