Very good service and a great location. We felt very safe and the staff was very helpful both with what to see and how to use the busses and trams. We arrived very early and unfortunately we could not have a room until the afternoon however

I had a wonderful time at Skadarlija. Check-in was easy. Rates are affordable. Staff (especially Katarina and Karmen, with whom I mostly interacted) are very accommodating, knowledgeable, and went out of their ways to share their city and country with me.

The facilities were clearly well maintained. The courtyard was a great place to relax or to hang with other travelers.

The Best Hostel in Belgrade

Hostel Skadarlija Sunrise is quite possibly the best hostel in the world. It rests quietly in the centre of Skadarlija, by fountains and flowers. There is a lush and beautiful garden to enjoy with a lot of space, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

The staff are certainly a large part of what makes the Sunrise special. Some of the very best folks you will ever meet, each one adds their own unique charm and personality to the hostel's excellent energy.

Highly, highly recommended.

Best hostel i have ever been, very clean and in the city center.
Great staff (gratings to Katarina ^^)
If i ever be back in Belgrad for sure i will stay here again.

Very clean, unbelievably friendly and helpful staff. Very welcoming and always happy to help.
Cleanliness was top notch and lovely to also receive a towel while you stay.
Only downside is there are only three toilets, with two of them being in shower rooms which can be slightly inconvenient.
Otherwise great hostel, would recommend. ✨⭐️🌟
