Excellent villa, great hosts and fab room.

We have stayed here two years running, both times we have had a room on the top floor with fantastic views. The hosts can't do enough to help, clean towels and bedding regulary plus towels for the fantastic pool. Hosts cooked us a fab BBQ one evening (yum yum). Loved to have us join them for a taste of their home made licquor and a chat before going out in an evening. There is a few lovely resturants and bars along the very clean beach.There is a bus stop just down the road one direction goes to Split town ( very lovely) the other direction goes to Omis which also has a fab beach, bigger than Podstrana. All in all Tomasovic is a fastastic villa to stay and hopefully we will be visiting again soon :-)

Brilliant and very helpful and hospitable hosts. Apartment we had was on the ground floor so we had a very relaxing and cool terrace to sit on. The appartment was very clean as was the whole place. Sheets and towels were changed regularly. The shower was wonderfully powerful...best ever.

Podstrana itself isn't too inspiring when you're self catering..local shop is very basic so my advice would be to go to Split or Omis . Only two restaurants near the villa which are quite acceptable but travel to Omis and eat on the Main Street stuff the Bastion...brilliant good and excellent service.

We stayed in Villa Tomasovic for 10 nights, we had a top floor apartment, room 6, that had a huge balcony with fantastic views of the sea, mountains and the islands. You are always guaranteed to get a room with a view as all the apartments are facing the same way out towards the sea! The room itself was lovely and clean, as well as being well equipped and modern.

There is a bus stop just down the hill which will take you to Split or Omis within 30 minutes. The beach is slightly further down across the road, still only a 2 minute walk away! If you walk down the road you will find the local bakery and grocery store. There are restaurants along the front and on the pier, but we recommend going to Split for more choice and ones that are easier on the budget.

Both the island of Brac (Zlatni Rat beach, Bol) and Hvar are well worth a visit, cheap ferry/catamaran tickets can be purchased from Split, both only take an hour and run daily.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, hosts were so welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and we would not hesitate to stay here again! :)

I have nothing but praise for this villa. It's near Split, in less than half an hour to reach the city center (when there are no crowds and faster). The villa is in a perfect location, raised in a small hill, so it offers a fantastic view of the sea and islands of Brac and Solta. From the villa to the beach is 3-4min walk. It has its own parking within the villa so there is no worry that someone will damage the car. Masters are excellent, communicative, friendly yet unobtrusive. Pool within the villa is divine, always clean. Apartments quite solid, solid when I say I think they are more than functionally, the bathroom is great, the kitchen is OK, the beds do not creak and they are quite comfortable, get a towel as you want during the day and of course the magnificent balcony that provides a view of 180 degrees.

Lovely place to stay

We only stayed here for a couple of days as we were visiting friends that had been staying all week. Set back from the road with it's own pool it was quiet and secluded, 5 mins walk to the beach and restaurants.
We said we would be more than happy to return and stay here again.
Owners were very friendly and helpful
