Good for short stay
Victoria Gon 31/05/2017 19:19The hotel is price worthy. Correct service, nice food, fine for a weekend visiting Regensburg. There is a sauna and swimming pool, which I did not see. Everything is clean. Breakfast buffet was big and nice! On the bottom floor there was a big room for events/workshops.
Good but worst internet ever
Ahmad Kon 15/01/2017 15:18The hotel is clean. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is good. Close to bus transportation. It is close to Regensburg hospital like 7 minutes walking and close to the university but that needs a bus.
The worst thing here is the internet. The connection is not stable and the wifi gets disconnected a lot ... It also requires you to keep signing in through a special page ... Its just frustrating at many times
Cheap, small, quiet
Tiamo1988on 22/07/2016 17:37Hotel leisure facilities are excellent; swimming pool, sauna, steam room, solarium, fitness gym equipment. The breakfast each morning was fresh, with ample choice of continental buffet. However, the evening restaurant food is pretty poor, in fact, horrible, with no certain value for money. There is a lovely outside decked seating area. The rooms are very small, although extremely clean. I won't stay here again.
Generous breakfast, but lots of little annoyances
Eclipticonon 02/07/2016 19:17The breakfast buffet at Hotel Apollo really offers a great choice and good quality, the location to the University is great and it is also well connected to public transport, but lots of little annoyances make me not want to come back ...
The supersoft single bed killed my back, the pillow cover did not want to stay where it was, all devices are kicked offl thye WiFi every 6 hours for authentication, the rooms under the roof are overheated while windows are diligently closed by the room staff or locked, and with windows open it is quite difficult to sleep with the highway just a few houses away.
Good hotel
Luca Don 03/05/2016 14:42The hotel is conveniently located near the University, even if in the opposite direction with respect to downtown, which is not at a walkable distance. The hotel is simply decorated, even if the room is a bit outdated; the cleaning leave is right. The personnel is courteous. A great breakfast is offered. Overall, prices are relatively low for which the value for money is high.
