Small, friendly hotel
isobelsmith68on 26/07/2017 21:20So, we arrived on Thursday the 20th of July and had to walk in the burning sun for about 5 minutes over bridges and uneven pavement. However, it is safe to say it was a relief to finally find the hotel (which is situated down an alley) and be in the cool air & not in the sun. The welcome was friendly, the person on reception was helpful with any questions we had and gave us the information we needed to know about the hotel. He carried one of our cases up the several flights of stairs and then outside our door. After this, we relaxed and unpacked our cases when we were then greeted with welcome drinks, this was a nice touch. The room consisted of; one double bed, one sofa-bed, a dresser, a fridge, a wardrobe and an average sized bathroom. The AC was quite noisy as we later found out, however it was incredibly efficient and kept the room as cold as we wanted, so no real problem there. After a comfortable nights sleep we woke up and went to eat breakfast (served from 8am - 10am) which was directly outside of our room. The breakfast had a variety of choices such as; croissants, cake, cereal, cakes, fruit, ham/cheese and there was also tea & coffee on offer. Overall, it was a good experience and a nice start to the day as the person serving was friendly and helpful.
After breakfast, we went out for the day and came back to a spotlessly clean room & bathroom. This hotel was nice with a typical venetian style, friendly staff and within walking distance of supermarkets, shops and landmarks. I would recommend this hotel!!
Best in Venice.
jessicapurshouseon 23/07/2017 13:28Just returned from this little gem. It's only 5 min walk from the water taxi that transfers you from the hotel (approx €25 return) I'd suggest using Google maps but it's not too difficult too find. The location is perfect, all main sights are all within walking distance, 10 min to Rialto and 20 minutes to St Marks Square. It's located on a peaceful/quiet street which is much appreciated after the hustly and bustly sightseeing of Venice. We had a room with a balcony and would nip to the Co-op round the corner for a bottle of wine before we went out in the evening. The decor is very Venetian would I loved. Theres a small continental breakfast included with the usual meat, cheese, yogurt, fruit, cereal, pastries etc. Plenty of little bars and restaurants in the area - I'd recommend Bar Puppa, Da Alvise, Bacaro Jazz all within 5-10 min walk. The staff are all lovely and very friendly. We both stated each day how glad we are that we chose Apostoli Palace.
Highly recommended if staying in Venice for a few days.
A little Gem

Friendly staff, lovely breakfast, clean. Very warm welcome. Easy access by Water Bus from the airport. Great location with local restaurants and bars. 10 minutes walk to main sites of Venice. We really enjoyed our stay, and would certainly return .

DickiesTourson 04/07/2017 20:32Absolutely wonderful part of Venice, away from the Tourist Crowds and easy access by Water Taxi from the airport. Easy walk to the main sites of venice, but in lovely area to explore with local restaurants and bars on your doorstep. Easy access by Water bus and to other islands. Small hotel with warm welcome and good breakfast. We stayed in the Superior Double with Balcony/Terrace which was spacious and clean. Perfect for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We plan to return as we loved everything about the hotel. Staff were lovely and met all expectations. Thank you
Lovely hotel
perrin16on 01/07/2017 20:43A beautiful hotel very near the centre of Venice within walking distance to the main attractions, we were there celebrating my 60th birthday, very clean rooms, friendly helpful owner and staff , we were given a small bottle of fizz for my birthday which was a lovely touch.
The breakfast is continental and very nice, self service in a very cosy dining area, this is only a small hotel which makes it cosy, our room was small but traditional with beautiful light fittings and furniture , tea and coffee facilities , a fridge and mini bar .
Really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay there again.
