Feebee1982on 22/07/2017 20:13It's 30 degrees around here and the pipe of the (large!) AC has been taped together!
We switched it on and we were so hot! When we had to move the entire bed to open the lower bed underneath, we had to move the AC, the the tape got completely loose and we realized why we were all burning up, it's because the hot air came straight into the appartement.
In addition the bathtub is full of mold.
Beds / sheets are clean and there's a shower gel (as we didn't fully unpack with 2 kids), this was a blessing!
Also, there's a (free) parking.
Noisy older Apartment
David Con 12/01/2017 18:24Good: Easy to find, nice apartment but very minimalist. Plenty of free parking on the streets around the apartment. Bed was comfortable.
Bad: We were in ‘A’ Block – with dated kitchen & old-fashioned stove elements.
No bedside tables, only two power outlets. ‘A’ Block faces the railway line and is very noisy, trains running all night (we had asked for a quiet room but that request was clearly ignored) – this was the noisiest accommodation we have stayed in, in all of Europe!. When you pay for a room you expect to get some sleep – we did not.
The key-pad that opens the A block door has a fault and does not work properly – we had to walk around the building to gain access twice. WiFi worked OK but when we had 2 devices on it the network ground to a halt.
Rubbish
OnLocationOnTheRoadon 13/08/2016 01:02Charged for a large family room. Got a small bedsit with not enough beds or bedding. Room was boiling hot and the portable AC unit had to be propped up on chairs to reach the outside side vent. Night staff very unhelpful. Spare yourself and your wallet and go somewhere else

Mabou2015on 22/05/2016 21:18We chose this place because the rates were fair and it is very well located from the train station (Gare Part-Dieu+Airport Express+Subway+Tramway). Location is quite convenient for transportation but that's about it. Very boring area. Rooms are clean but very basic. No shower curtain. Continental breakfast is OK (about 9 Euros) - very spacious breakfast room. Definitely not a place where I would come back.
The worst stay we ever had
Gabriele Pon 09/05/2016 15:15We had problems from the very beginning: as soon as we entered the place (late evening), we discovered they had just repainted all the corridors and rooms. Despite the windows left open for the whole night, we had to sleep with a unhealthy smell of paint for the whole stay.
On the first day we also discovered that the fridge was broken and that the washbasin in the bathroom and the sink in the kitchen were both clogged. As a result it was impossible to wash either ourselves or the dishes.
During the remaining 3 days of our stay, we kept asking at the reception (when someone was there...) to solve these problems, but the situation did not get any better: every time they had an excuse, and in the end they just apologised!
They only managed to cope with a couple of smaller problems: replacing a table that was way too big for the room (it prevented the passage to the bed) and adding a missing char.
So our rating is: simply unacceptable.
