Average stay
waitforit38on 20/11/2016 10:08Really not much to say. The staff was okay but not amazing. Breakfast room was really small , mostly when there are lots of tourists groups coming down. The reception closes between 12 and 2pm. Same at night. So if you have an issue during the night good luck with that. It's cheap, mostly Cauz of the location. Not much to do or see around. Just a restaurant 5 minutes of driving away. Down side is mostly maintenance in rooms and the noises if you got a room near a tourist group section. Otherwise nothing incredible to expect with these prices so could have been worse.
Poor
goliberoon 22/10/2016 12:56Stayed last week for the second time, hopeful to improve. Location is in the middle of nowhere and not signed from the exterior. It's gated, confusing upon first arrival. Some hallways are left open to the outside air, and the hallways are marked up and carpets stained. My room this past week smelled of sewage, as if the shower did not drain well. The ceiling above the kitchen area was peeling and falling down. The first week, the internet did not work, the second week, there was no internet at all though the front desk team apologized in advance and communicated this clearly. Furnishings in the room feel very cheap, and the carpets were also stained in my room this second week. I prefer not to return, and made arrangements elsewhere for the future trips to the Magny area. Rooms are non smoking, but each evening returning I saw guests leaning out of the windows to smoke, and smoking at the hallway exits.
Functional and cheap
pepitopulpitoon 13/09/2016 21:25Nothing fancy, but very convenient if you travel by car to Paris. Quite basic room, but very very clean.
Very functional, in the middle of nowhere. Do not expect much more than sleeping there. Wifi was not working really well the two times we were there.
Not terrible, but very poor...
Dmytro Hon 26/06/2016 19:58I`ve been staying here for 3 nights with a group of football fans from Ukraine in June, 2016. As I remember there are 5 combined buidings in this hotel. So it is rather big.
The twin-room I lived in was quite big for such hotel. In the small corridor in the room there was a microwave cooker and dishes, but I didn't use them. The bathroom was really large (about 1/2 of the room). I didin't understand, what were the reasons for such size of it.
No soap, no shampoo all the days (it was good I had my own).
The room seemed to be clear, but corridors - weren't. I did't make photos of dirty walls and carpet floorings in hotel corridors, but it was not pleasant to pass along them every day. As for me the equipment is quite old.
Hotel service was bad. Some of the tourists from our group complained that on the 1st day of our staying they had dirty bedclothing. I had no such experience, but had the other one: on the 1st day of my staying there were 5 towels in the room (2 - big, 2 - small and 1 - floor towel) for 2 persons in the room. And after 1st cleaning of the room we got only 2 new (1 - small and 1 - floor towel). At the reception desk I managed to get one more, but only small, because... there were not big towels :)
The working-day of the receptionists is quite strange. In the late evening and at night it is closed. In the evening a receptionist didn't want to help to book some tickets, telling us that in the morning the other one (her collegue) perhaps will help.
Free Wi-Fi, but only near the reception desk (in the rooms signal was too bad to open even 1 page). And if there were more than 3-5 users, there was not possibility to browse anything.
The breakfast was terrible. Only 1 person (quite pleasant) worked in the hotel "restaurant" for the whole our group. When after the first 15 minutes of the breakfast time there were no food and drinks, we had to wait the next 15 for more.
And the most interesting thing was when 2 groups - from Ukraine and from China - had breakfast together. There were no enough tables and stools in the hotel restaurant. So, Ukrainians and Chinese managed to eat, standing near their friends or waiting for a free stool or/and table. The food problem on that morning was incredible.
To onlookers it appeared like nobody in the hotel was interested in residents.
Perhaps, near Paris such service is normal for such price, but I didn't want to live in this hotel any more.
Not very friendly
shakazoooon 05/06/2016 08:09Type of place you stay at mostly because you have to not because you want to, and the staff tend to make you feel that way.
Nothing really wrong with it from a functional perspective.
For example: as an apparthotel oriented at the business-traveller it is extremely averse to non-French speakers. You're asked to sign a contract two-pages long entirely in French with no option of another version or attempt to explain the contents.
